I am a smart and creative individual.

My name is the Professor and I am a Time Lord. I am 1321 years old and I am the last Time Lord. At least, I thought I did. When I was fixing up the T.A.R.D.I.S., I found something unusual in the main console. So I use my sonic pen and I tried to analyze what it is. Before I could do that the T.A.R.D.I.S started wiring on her own and I blacked out.
When I woke up, I saw the strangest thing.

I hope you guys like it.

Thanks for the honesty.

Alright I am paused about the group's that I was put in. First off, I am not insane, stupid, or mentally disabled. I have an I.Q. of 120. That technically makes me a genius. Next, even though I had a lot of fun wrighting this fan fiction, I wouldn't consider the professor as a Gary Stu.

I have an I.Q. of 120. That technically makes me a genius.

Not even close. That makes you smarter than the average bear although technically IQ is really nothing more than your potential and raw brain power. To be a genius you need to be over 140. That's the threshold. And I'll leave this with this little quote by Stephen Hawking: "People who boast about their I.Q. are losers."

Next, even though I had a lot of fun wrighting this fan fiction, I wouldn't consider the professor as a Gary Stu.

What an odd thing to say considering that nobody said anything about this until now. It's almost as if you've had this trouble before and want to head it off before people say anything. But that's just crazy talk as you're obviously new here. It's not like you've been around before under another name or anything.

I'll just say that I hope your stay here is better than this person's was.

Well then, I am new, and I am sorry about what I stated about the group's the reunion of brothers was put in. It kind of pissed me off when people said that I just over-powered one of my characters without giving a name or backstory. This is what a Gary Stu is. I also apologized about what I said about me being a genius when I wasn't. I guess that I was just tired and a little bit annoyed this. So, on a side note, do you have any complements or any constructive criticism for me and my future stories.

Just FYI, clicking on the the ">>" button on the upper right of comments allows you to reply to them. Please do that in the future so people know you've responded to their comment.

And just reading the first chapter I see several problems:

1) If you are writing in first person perspective (I, we, me) do not attempt to do multiple viewpoints. It's hard enough to give one character unique personality that comes out through the prose, much less several.

And building on that, don't switch viewpoints as quickly as you do even in third person perspective (she, her, they). It's jarring and distracting. Stick to one perspective per scene/chapter.

2) Lastly, the Professor is a huge problem. He's a Time Lord and apparently the Doctor's long-lost sibling. That is a huge no-no. For starters you're taking away what makes the Doctor unique. And then you're shoehorning in an OC as being related to a canon character. People hated when FIM added Shining Armor as a never-before-mentioned brother, and they'll especially hate it when you try to tamper with the backstory of someone as beloved as the Doctor.

Really? This is what a Gary Stu is? Thank you ever so much for telling me what it is I already knew in a way that was so completely wrong making your whole point irrelevant. A Mary, or Gary, Stu is not necessarily overpowered. Look at Superman. He's incredibly overpowered especially if you take the Silver Age into account but he's not a Mary Stu. No. A Mary Sue is too perfect. They have no flaws. No weaknesses. Can do things that no normal people can't. Come up with solutions at the drop of a hat. Everybody loves them except that one person that we're all supposed to hate. In short, a Mary Sue is an idealized character that more often or not is the embodiment of the author in that story.

And could you point out where it was that people referred to this character as a Gary Stu because I'm not seeing it.

I also apologized about what I said about me being a genius when I wasn't.

No you didn't. Or if you did it wasn't anywhere near here.

So, on a side note, do you have any complements or any constructive criticism for me and my future stories.

How the hell can I see the future? How can I give you compliments or constructive criticism on stories that haven't been written yet? Can you break the laws of time and space? Are you a wizard?

4673066 pointed out some really big flaws in your story and you'd be good to actually follow through with these. You'd also be well served if while reading you actually paid attention to how things are set up.

4675025 I might be a wizard, and thank you for pointing this out.
Also, apologized was a typo. I ment to say apologize.

I'll sue you for copyright violation :pinkiecrazy:

Okay. Now where did people say this was a Gary Stu?

4677326 They dis it when they put the story into T.R.O.L.L. group, and I am allergic to Mary Sues.

4677259 Oh, come on! I already sited my sources so you can't sue me for that.

4677788 i thought in this term you would spell it as Cited?

4727771 okay, as long as anyone trying to sue you knows what it means.

4801842 thank you, my friend drew this for me, though she said it was a drawing of me? (oh right as a pony) :D

Funny I just found this on Google images but if you put glasses, a black suit, and a blue tie on it you whould have my pony me. The even got the cutie mark right. (Scientist)

4836152 To avoid any confusion, I found this image after I made the previous comment. So now I just need the suit. They even got the eye color right.:pinkiehappy:

4855994 Ignore that last comment

In season 3 of Doctor Who:
Martha (referencing the Master): "I thought you were going to say he was your brother."
Doctor: "You've been watching too much TV."
All my thoughts are in that one conversation.

When I heard that name, I whispered "little brother?" in disbelief. Apparently, he heard me because he went from having a huge smile on his face to having a look of pure shock. "What!" he said in disbelief, "What!!" He repeated, "WHAT!!!" He shouted while staring directly at me. I was equally shocked upon realizing that this stallion was related to me. No one else whould call themselves the Doctor and not have a look of dought upon there face. Only the Doctor would. Only my brother whould.

Awwww cute
