This story is a sequel to Answered
After a night of scouring the Northern Districts, AKA the Crystal Empire, the girls return to the hotel for the night. However, when they see that Pinkie isn't there, they go on a search to the place she said she'd be at: the dance she was catering. But, when they get there, they not only find Pinkie, but their old chemistry professor, Mr.Sombra! Wait a second, are they hugging? And is that an engagement ring?!

I liked this much, much better than I was expecting to! The former teacher/student dynamic has always worried me, but the tone felt different here, and Pinkie's defense of her ability to make her own decisions absolutely won me over. Well done.

I love how you took an already unusual ship and then making it even more unique by putting it in the Equestria Girls universe. But I think that splitting it into multiple stories was a huge mistake. You might be able to get away with having the first one separate, but the last three stories really aren't self-contained enough to justify having them as separate stories.

4809033 Hmm. Someone just said something like that to me. I don't know if Harmony Charmer's in the same position, but a lot of my stuff is tacked on, one fic at a time. It's not planned in advance. It's only recently that it's started to hang together loosely as a story arc. Many times I've thought, "oh, this is the last one," and then I've had another idea and gone on. If I wrote it all as a huge long-runner, it would have to have a whole through plotline and I'd have to keep track of multiple plot threads and basically, I'd just quit. It would be a huge pain.
Not to mention that with a long-runner, you get constant scrutiny about whether X plot point was ever followed up on and when you're going to update and all of that stuff.
But I'm not sure if that's what you meant.

I actually have a sequel of sorts planned, but it doesn't follow this one immediately. It'll be a little mini-series where Sombra and Pinkie from Equestria show up in the EG world, and both couples must accommodate for each other while the Equestria pair has to figure out a way to get back.
