Twilight Sparkle, always the studious mare, was conducting an experiment one day. This experiment however went terribly wrong, and it not only injured her, but it brought a strange and unknown creature to Equestria. Injured, on the brink of death, and in need of urgent care, Tyler is quickly healed as much as magic can do, before he is put under the care of a suspicious Princess Luna. Yet this experiment-gone-wrong may prove as a blessing not only to Tyler, but Princess Luna as well...

Allow me to be one of the first to tell you, that this story was marvelously done. The story was exceptionally well written for a first person perspective. Unlike many I have read, the details on what Tyler did, felt, and reacted to was very fluid and life like. Tylers character itself is also well done. He felt like an actual person rather then an "OC."
I must give this a fave and a like as you very well deserved it, though what disappoints me is that this is a one shot. There is so much that could have been explored but being a story writer myself I know the difficulty of writing a story based on an idea but for one reason or another can't write more details in the "between significant events."
But other then this I thoroughly enjoyed what you have written.
Edit: I had to add this story to relevant groups in hope that this story gets the attention it deserves. ^^

Good story. One thing broke the immersion for me, though: the five POUND steak. While it's certainly possible for a human being to eat that much, it's hard for me to swallow (heh) that Tyler could do it just because he was hungry for meat, especially in a short amount of time. (Although, to be fair, I guess I don't know how fast griffons eat.) Add in that it was probably the first meat he'd consumed in weeks or months, and I'd expect a big reason they don't want him eating meat to be the gastrointestinal aftermath of that incident!
5 lbs. = 80 oz.
And there are plenty of restaurants that offer things like "free" meals of similar proportions, but if you don't finish then you have to pay a lot! I guess Tyler could be a competitive eater as well as a hiker...?

I wouldn't have blinked if he said "three pound steak". 48 oz. is more than I'd normally order but I wouldn't be afraid to tackle it like I would an 80 oz. monster.

I like how you made this take Place over almost two years, all to many romance fics have the characters fall in love over the first Three Days that they know each other.
4564485 LOL... I started working on this two months ago, and I kept writing it over a period of sporadic bursts of inspiration, before I finally gave it the last push the day I posted it. I forgot how I came up with the storyline, but not what I wanted to have it do. Other than that... I have no idea what I would do to even get for a sequel...
If I did a sequel, it would most likely just be something purely on their relationship on a day by day basis, and I know from experience those types of stories are usually bland and boring, and horribly rated by those that read them.
Oh my dear lord. That has got to be the best read of my life. Upon finishing it, a single tear came form my eye. I don't care who you are, if you don't find this story to be a heartwarming romance story, then you have no soul... This story was just beautiful! PLEASE MAKE MOAR! D:

My 1 criticism is the time skips are a bit jarring and I do wish you had written about their first date instead of skipping it.
But it was still an amazing read none the less. Well done.
My only regret is not find your stories sooner!

Wow; just wow! What a delicious morsel of literature you've created here. I was not expecting a dark and tense moment having read a couple of your other stories beforehand. This story had some meat to it. (pun not intended but i'll take it). Excellent world building. Bravo, Wolfsalvo, bravo. I wouldn't mind another Slice of Life story from this universe. A where are they now sort of thing perhaps? Does Blank Shield have vengeance in his heart? hmmmm
