4528686 i think i may know why, from my experience it's usually people that read thiese kinds of fics such as in human in equestria tend to expect a wellHuman and not a human turned pony so they tend to imminently down-vote and never touch the story again ,another reason i could see why it could have been down-voted is because the princess's just decided to take him and forcefully make him a pony like it was just nothing even if he was just gonna die they could have offered him the choice to stay human or become a pony and by staying human i mean being a actual human in equestria not just one with a pony body

well, for the first reason, that is understandable to a very small degree. I, myself have specific types of stories I don't like(*cough* Sparity *cough*), however, I still wouldn't downvote it. Heck I've even seen stories that i hated because of what it was, but then gave it a chance and was better than most stories so far(Lunacy of Love
Now for the second reason.... I'm so temped to explain that to you, however, it would ruin a part of the story. Spoilers, if you will. So, if it is that reason, then people just don't like uncertainties at the start.
There is one thing I can say though. What happened to Hark was kinda the only choice he really had...

i don't remember what happened, but I don't like it that it looks like Celestia and Luna did some weird spell to kidnapp someone from his world and make him a savior for their own or something like that.
Carrot was the one with the flushed face right? I like this story, it isn't exactly the usual everything happens to the main char and the Mare can be like that too. You have a really good story there so far, and the other stuff is only something from that I fear "could" went pretty much wrong.
Carrot is sweet like that.
Not sure how I would act there, but I wouldn't go I guess.
5614603 well you don't overdo it, but you keep it funny. I like Pinkie so far. Please don't let him oggle all the mares he is meeting. I don't enjoy a harem like story to much, or if the main char is overreacting with the blushing and everything. I probably didn't used that word right "oggle" I mean, I just meant that I hope he isn't the guy that has to embrass himself every minute.
I like it and it is still somehow special, but if there is a story with a guy that can't speak or hear, there isn't a point in solving that problem right away. I mean he could have spoken right away.
I'm curious about a romance story, where the Human turned Pony (Mare or Stallion), is able to sway the other pony with just doing things more physically since he can't speak, which should make everything a bit more personal.
oh finally, or proably a sweet Carrot X not terrible akward/shy/punching bag type of a main Char. It isn't even a harem story, I hope....
I mean I like two or three ponys at once, but I mostly want a good reason for that and seperate dates, I want to believe that they actually love each other and don't just go at it if this should be a herd stoy.
However I get the feeling Carrot and a more or less normal live is great for him. If he should have some sort of awesome destiny, then I hope for a sequel and them maybe even adopting a filly. I maybe say that I like many storys, but I hardly get that nice feeling by reading most of them.

While I would have loved it to have a Carrot Top romance story without a harem or herd for once, since I can't believe that they like each other most of the time, I'm perfectly fine with her and maybe even Coco in the small herd.
I mean if the character tags are saying anything right now, then I would need something special for Rainbow. I'm not exactly sure, but with characters like rainbow I always fear it probbly looks awful, or weird the way she is probably going to join the herd or romance usually.
I think that she or even Pinkie would act, or could act differently in a real relationship and would only act as their usual self if they really like someone.
To be hones while I started to really enjoy Pinkie romances, I like it if despite their party personality, that characters like Vinyl/Pinkie and Dash, can actually be nervous about their dates or that they would try to actually make a good impression if you know what I mean. I probably could explain it better but not today.
Since I know that Dash and Pinkie would act a bit more like their usual self, while still caring for their partner (if they are the only few herd members you mentioned), I would like it if at least Carrot would continue to look like her caring and casual self. and if Coco would take the part of the shy one.

Well I think I finished my comment, so the only think I can still say is good work with this chapter. Everything I said is mostly about stuff I hope happens in a certain way, or at least that the worst can be prevented.

I can't say much on what will happen in the story still, but I will at least say that the character tags are because they are the main characters, not the ones being shipped. Now of course one or more will be, but I can say at least that they all will not be in a herd with him.
Also, even though the first chapter was a little on the human side, just know that chapter is basically the key to figuring out who he will be shipped with.

I guess either the chapter name should hint on the shippings, or in the chapter itself is who is going to be shipped with him.
I guess the part of me who is expecting something bad is only able to completely turn out, once I see that you can do it the way I think it is very good.
However don't think much about it, till now I actually trust your writing skills, but I can't turn out all the bad stuff I had already seen.
