Hello,

My name is TheHappySpaceman. I have been the creative consultant and unofficial co-writer of chapters of Of Night and Stone since its start in 2014.

As some of you may be aware, at least those who have read this most recent update, Kirb, the author of this fanfiction, has been inactive on this site and others since 2016. He has become a living recluse, not even responding to messages from me, his good friend of many years.

All that said, it saddens me to see his work go unfinished, especially stories like this which had so much potential. I would feel bad to see it stay this way, and while I don't know all of Kirb's entire plans, I have found myself inspired reading some of his past chapters. I hope Kirb makes a return to this site eventually, but we have no way of knowing if he will. So if anyone is interested in some form of continuation of some sort on that front, please leave a comment below.

I do not know if he will see anything I send him, but I will be sure to let him know that he is missed by many.

As for a continuation to this story, I do plan on writing it, if for no other reason than to continue his legacy. I do not know yet if I will post it on his story or as a continuation on my own userpage, but that is a road I will come to once I actually have a few chapters written.
