Ephraim Blue

By the time you see me, its too late. I'm gone and you have perished. Glimpses are hard to come by when seeking the Lone Wolves of the Light

T

I never wanted any of this to happen. It's not easy being two people at the same time, especially since one of them isn't a person.

So there I am, on the 19th of February of the year 2014. Normal day for me. I had just finished my first Fan-Fiction: Two and a half years... the day before. Great story on my part, but the dialogue was a little weird and quick. I was going to put up its sequel on that day, but something happened.

I know I told you that I had troubles with the first chapter, accidentally deleting most of it. That was the honest truth. But even though I told you guys the truth...

I may not have told you... all of it.

Yes, that is a quote from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Great movie. I never read the book.

What apparently really happened, was when I went to bed that night, I had a dream. I know that a dream is something that most people have almost every night, but I don't have many dreams anymore.

The funny thing about dreams is that they are hard to remember. All I remember from it is the very realistic pain.

But the dream wasn't the strangest part. When I woke up the next day, I wasn't in my bed. I was on the streets of a huge city. It was strangely familiar too.

I made a vital mistake right after I woke up. I took a look at myself. I was shocked beyond belief when I realized what I had become.

I was a pony. Not a special pony, or an important pony from the show. Just a simple, kid pony.

Oh, I was a gray unicorn too. The face I had was very familiar too.

How did this happen? I honestly don't know. But this is how my life took an unexpected turn, and I had to live it.

So far I think it's great please keep posting chapters of your story :D

4416391 Thank you. I'll be sure to do that.:pinkiehappy:

4416434 Umm, Its mine. I drew it by hand and took a picture of it. Sorry if you don't like it.

Looking forward to it. I can't wait to read the next chapter great work!

4416442 I wouldn't really care except for the fact that your profile pic appears to be original. Why the sudden quality change? :rainbowhuh:

4416463 the picture for my profile was made on Pony Creator on DevientArt. I drew part the picture for this story based off that.

4416475 And you, my fine sir, I thank for liking this story.:moustache:

Good sir am I to guess that the young lad has travled time

4421147 That would be correct, equally fine sir.

I really like this book, I liked it so much it compeled me to make my own profile just to tell you how much I like it, which is better then a pinkie pie party :pinkiehappy:

4422451 You're welcome! Be sure to enjoy all that this website has to offer!

I like it so far. I'm interested what will happen to him when they can't find his parents... will he maybe be adopted by this Guard? Or even Celestia herself?

Interesting story you have going on here. I shall set up a chair for the chapters to come.

4455139 Get some hot chocolate too. I like hot chocolate.

Admit it. You laughed when you saw that picture. I did too.

Yes, yes I did. IREGRET NOTHING! I WOULD LAUGH AGAIN!

How can you not speak Equestrian, but not speak it yourself?

Dude small typo there how can you hear equestrian but not speak it yourself.
It is still a very good chapter. Keep on going.

Much like my first memory. It was a dream, but I remember it, as clear as I can see you... That is, if I could see you.

So... you can't remember it clearly at all? Does it count as a memory if you can't remember it? Why would you speculate on the clarity of something you cannot see at all?

4471181 You sir, are pretty funny.

What I'm saying by that, is that if I could see you, I'd be seeing you as clear as day. I can't see you because this is a story. When I say I'd remember the memory as clear as I can see you, if I could see you.

Well... that was interesting. Hope the next chapter comes soon :pinkiehappy:

4505978 Soon enough. You just have to be patent with my writing.

4506074 What? I never mentioned him in the story.(I might have) And how does that have anything to do with this?

4506104 I thought the stallion that was mentioned as uncle was Starswirl....

4506124 No... Starswirl was Clover's teacher. That was in the Hearth's Warming Eve episode.

I got a guess and I think we all know it well. The day of six destinies is the day that rainbow dash first does the sonic rainboom and the mane six get thier cutie marks.

As the Author, I'm not allowed to tell you. Those are pretty good guesses though.

4511136 Thanks! You didn't do too bad yourself.

Celestia went Cra-cra, I don't blame Blue for running. But threatening to torture a colt seemed a little OC, don't you think?

Once I read an entire introduction to a chapter because I was curious if it would go anywhere. I am beginning to regret that decision.

not everypony knows he's the of of Chaos
after I preformed it several times,

that we would call out home. But what the princess and I didn't know at the time, wsa
She was to weak
flew strait into the sky

"Let it gooooo...." I sung. "Let it gooooooo! Can't hold it back anymore!"

Doesn't work.

4522670 I know. Don't make me feel even worse.:fluttercry:

4467488 Enchantments can be weird. As in, one-sided translation spells or devices are not exactly uncommon in fiction. In many cases, both parties require a translate for it to work fully.

4528681 I hope not. Still, the language barrier has been fixed at this point, mostly. Namely that the second half was fixed when Sunset cast the translation spell.

I haven't seen any Geas type effects active. There is the whole custom entity lock thing, which was unexpected.

This is also a reasonable response to a self-insert (not derogatory) dropping classified or private information. People, or ponies, arn't going to take that in stride. Well, unless something really, really screwy is going on, like in "Through the Eyes Of Another Pony", No, rather, you will have WTF reactions following by them attempting to resolve such bafflement in a reasonable manner. Which, if you are a serious Celestia, rather than a rather common Celestia, is going to involve an interrogation of some sort.

I don't really know if responding in that situation on it being information from the future would be advisable. After all if the excuse of "I would rather avoid a time paradox" was ever used before, well...
Still, I kept thinking that he was going to claim time travel, seer, or paradox prevention of some kind

4529082 How did he know?

I mean, continue having theories. Yeah, theories...:rainbowderp:

4529116 I try to, if not mainly focus on the future story-line, at least try to figure out the mechanics governing the local universe where the story takes place.

Also, I didn't really speculate on possible future events. Or did I?

I tend to also be enthusiastic any time one of my personal peeves are averted. The most common three being the
-Accepted Creepy Knoweldge. Because finding out someone has been secretly watching you and your friends for years, possible part of the future as well, is not creepy at all. Even if they don't get any intimate moments, well, you still are going to think Stalker, Spy, or something equally damning. Or I suppose they might try to pass themselves off as a seer, but that rarely happens.
-Straw Vulcan. Because logic doesn't work that way. At all. Nor does anyone worthy of a character slot act that way unless in jest.
-Failure to actually use SCIENCE properly. Proper SCIENCE follows the SCIENCEtific method or something close, rather than, well, what Hollywood has deluded everyone else into thinking it is. Like when ArcaneHowitzer had the guys from HALO carving Eldrich Runes onto their starships because, although they had no idea why it worked, it did in fact result in a hull plate with energy shielding.
