Borg

E

One day, while out flying, Dash sees Twilight. And then she sees a flash of green flame as Twilight becomes a different pony. Needless to say, she finds this alarming.

Kind of an adrupt ending....

Dat feeling when you see your friend shapeshift and it doesn't even occur to you until later. :facehoof:

Twilight, why didn't you give your friends a heads up?! :twilightblush:

Needs to be fleshed out more. 1500 words isn't enough for anything except, maybe, a surrealist experiment.

...That was strangely anticlimactic and satisfying at the same time.

Weird. :applejackconfused:

And that was that.

...not sure if parody.

hmmm.well I wasn't expecting that boring of an ending :rainbowhuh:

Or, to quote The Rise of Darth Vulcan: "That's both surprisingly sensible and vaguely disappointing."

Oh yeah, that twist was awesome. :rainbowkiss:

To clarify a bit: The problem here isn't the reveal but rather the lack of buildup.

This would actually have been a pretty hilarious story if they'd spent the whole day running around the town trying to uncover the Changeling conspiracy and avoiding Twilight rather than just ask her about it. This is a good example of what happens when the protagonists are just a bit too efficient.

This was so awesome! :rainbowkiss:

Have you ever considered submitting this story to Equestria Daily? You can find out how to do so here.

5615315 Butterscotch Savoury...the name of my OC

5615315 Depends, who wants to know?

Joking, O don't I have the link to it anymore, it's forever lost to time.

5615310 Technically I did; I wrote this for the Equestria Daily Writer's Training Ground #15. See, it's one of only two adventure stories that training ground.
As for submitting it unassociated with any event, I have nothing to say but "Haha, no." I'm not interested in editing anything up to EqD quality, and in the unlikely event that I've written something that's already good enough, good luck convincing me of that fact.

Although I don't know of any rule that says you can't submit somebody else's story . . . but if you submit it on my behalf, don't expect me to do anything about it when it's rejected.
