A new filly has arrived at Ponyville’s school from one of the furthest reaches of Equestria. This is the story of Aryanne’s struggles in a culture so very different from that which she has always known.
Yes, Nazis are bad. No, I’m not a Nazi. Yes, Aryanne is absolutely adorable. No, she isn’t my OC, her creator can be easily found through derpiboo.
This fic is being written purely for my own enjoyment, and, as such, I don’t know how it’ll end up. Tags may well change, therefore, as the story progresses. I may as well start it off with a T, and I think that that can be upgraded to an M if any chapters require it.

Ceeeeuuuuuuuuuuuuuute! Can't wait to see more. I found Aryanne's reaction quite fitting to her former monolouge(?) to the class. However, Scootaloo's instant reaction doesn't seem right. Surely she'd have experienced it before? Then again, nopony really tends to mention her disability outside of curiosity, so Scoots may not be used to such negativity.

4058371 Well, I was thinking more along the lines of it being a real heartbreak for her, which is normally completely buried thanks to the ponies of Ponyville being so nice and reassuring all of the time, so she was completely unable to deal with Aryanne's judgement of the situation. I've always pictured Scoots that way, seen it as one of the reasons she was so obsessed with Dash &c.
But I will have a look at making it flow better. Thanks to everyone for how well this intro's gone down.
I take it she has some kind of phobia (possibly reinforced by her upbringing) about physical disabilities. That's actually an interesting concept to explore in such a "Love and Tolerate" world. Basically, I see her getting called a horrible pony because of her fear, even though she can't help it. Not sure if my first impression will be useful to you at all, but there you go.
Two questions/concerns: One, where was Scootaloo before she joined them? It sounds like she wasn't in class, (Sweetie Belle didn't know where she was, at least), but then she pops up for recess. Two, I'm a bit surprised Diamond Tiara didn't come try to 'recruit' Aryanne as soon as class got out. It seems like she would have had time to get to them before Scootaloo showed up. Both of these gripes are pretty minor, though.

As to DT, I pictured her preffering to try and recruit Aryanne when she was away from Sweetie, which hadn't yet been possible.

Interested to see how you translate supremacist views into an Equestrian context. Hoping you'll keep actual ties to Earth-WWII out of things, and just kind of give us your own fresh spin on how she feels, and why. If you can manage that, I'll definitely lurk for some more of this.

As well as Scootaloo just breaking down like that...It isn't hard to imagine, since she did get all worked up over Diamond and Silver's comment on it.

I was moving countries and a load of other stuff, it interrupted my work on it. Then exams and other stuff kept me away.
Now I've got free time again, I'm working on something new to get me back into the swing. Another chapter for that and I'll start work on this again.
