Once upon a time, there was a pony. Her name was Celestia, and her purpose was to initiate a series of events which would ultimately result in in the production, encouragement, and maintenance of harmony in the world. This series of events started with eating grass.

This story is rather weird, but it's the good kind of weird.
I like the whole Monty Python or Douglas Adams feel of this. It reminds me of that part in the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy books where a life-form drags itself out if the East River, and asks Ford Prefect what the meaning of life is.
Really liking this story, and I'm not just saying that because I like the author. This is a genuinely good bit of distraction.
This is tickling my philosophy bone, and it is divine.

There is no objective reason why this is not a perfectly satisfactory fanfiction. It has at least one, perhaps more than one pony, achieving a goal and aiming for a higher purpose.

Ah, but Celestia is a girl and girls do not poop. Maybe Celestia can poop because it is not a girl yet. The next chapter is called sex after all. I shall have to read the next chapter for learning whether Celestia is sexless in this chapter, but becomes a girl in the next chapter.

I like Begat's name, it lends itself nicely to the creation mythos while still being fantastically pony! But I don't know what a boundary condition is so that bit is lost on me. And don't worry about all your secret responsibilities Celestia, just keep calm and eat grass.
