Sooo, Celestia says she can only assume Vader killed Twilight's mother because he was the last person to talk to her. Twilight just goes along with that despite no evidence and in spite of Celestia literally saying "I can only assume". Assume. Argh, dang pony stupidity raises its ugly head again!
What? Baneite Darths (who are weaker than pre-Ruusan Sith and Jedi in the expanded universe) much weaker than Darth Vader have shattered planets (or just ate the life force of everything on the planet) and split suns. Without any apparent strain. Hell, at least one Sith Lord in the expanded universe in Jacen Solo's Empire swept a sun's star-matter a few AUs around (Astronomical Units) casually, with no effort, out of boredom. For the record, he was also weaker than Darth Vader. By a lot. Celestia would be screwed against Vader. Oh, I don't doubt she could put up a decent fight. Assuming her power over the sun is true and that it is due to her level of power instead of a unique connection to celestial bodies and not applicable to her power level in combat. But, either way, she would still be killed without managing to injure Vader.
