That struck me as more of a Twilight Sparkle speech than a Rainbow Dash speech.

so you also thought of Slendermane when you heard the name trenderhoof? :pinkiecrazy:

3919000 Yeah it is...but I figured the others wouldn't be above trying to talk sense into their friend as well. It might stray from how some of them would normally handle things, like Rainbow here. But as exasperating as Rarity is in this situation, it's still clear that's she's hurting, and friends want to help her.

:rainbowkiss:

Short and sweet. The way i like it. Just taking a break from thrilling fics

I'm not one to give downvotes for writing mechanics, and I still won't, but this hurts.

“Yyyyeah. So, when did mindless chores become part of the festival planning?” She looked down at the unicorn and arched an eyebrow. Rarity narrowed her eyes in indignation and continued struggling to pull the plow. “Thayse choars Ah’m dew-in’ are NOT mand-less,” she retorted. “Ah’m a hard workin’ poe-nay, and it’s im-poh-tant that Ah get these done, be-cuz Ah am a farm fill-ay at heart.”

Two different characters' dialogues can't be in one paragraph. That's a BIG no-no.
When it comes to Apple-speak (or mock Apple-speak in this case), though, I don't comment on others' interpretations. You can write it howeeeeeeever you want, as long as it's readable.

Other than that, not bad.

3919800 Oh hey thanks! I don't write all that much, so I miss stuff like that. I went ahead and fixed it!

As for the accent, I wrote it exaggerated and weird on purpose, to further illustrate how exaggerated and contrived Rarity was acting. :rainbowlaugh:

3919992 No problem. It helps when you've had training. :raritywink:
And yes, I figured the over-exaggeration was intentional. For mock Apple-speak, you did a pretty good job. :ajsmug:
