A great story, sir, especially with regards to the worldbuilding. Also, I must say that in reading this final chapter, I feel like your writing has gotten substantially better in terms of flow, coherence, and interaction between the characters. Even compared to the last chapter - where I felt that your technique was fairly good already - this seemed to be marked improvement, so excellent work on that account!
Hope to see more of this setting, with Stout Hoof or somepony else, though personally I'm hoping to see him return.
Thanks for the comments everyone, so glad to hear you all enjoyed it! (And happy to hear my works have been improving!) I've been playing around with the idea of building a "feudal age Equestria" for a while now, and I'm actually pretty pleased with how my first pass turned out. Stablesworth was an interesting location to develop and explore, and I have quite a few ideas as to how it could fit into the larger scope of "Old Equestria."
That being said, it may be a little while before I can post more of Stout Hoof's adventures. (I've been working on a Fallout Equestria piece for a while now that needs some love and attention.) Keep your eyes peeled though, I don't think this will be my last story in this particular world.
