Ok, rant incoming:  I've seen several people on here complain about Halo fics when they're posted, when the fic is clearly titled as a halo fic, and nobody is forcing them to read a Halo fic.  I just gotta ask "why?"  Why did you have to take the minute out of your time to click on a fic you were not going to read anyways.  Does it really bother you that much that a popular video game series got a crossover story?

I know what you mean. I think it's more because people get jaded about the same story being written time and time again rather than that they're Halo crossovers. Most of them end up being some minor variation of the same thing - ODSTs in Equestria, OC Spartans or a Noble Team Spartan in Equestria, occasionally the Chief in Equestria... it isn't often that someone comes up with a fresh, unique idea.

I like this Halo crossover. It's different from the others I read, and it has an interesting plot. I'm currently helping out with two other Halo crossovers; one of which is written by TJbrena. If you need somebody to help you with proofreading or anything like it, I would be more than happy to help.

Alright, having now read it, I like it so far. I think the prologue and Twilight's return could've benefited from being written with more dramatic "oomph" for lack of a better word, but that's just me going "that's not how I'd have done it" I guess.

Two ODSTs making 550+ year old Terminator and Futurama references? Sure, why not. We quote Shakespeare. How they handle Twilight's appearance? Eh... at this point they've probably seen so much crazy shit from the Covenant they find her refreshing. After floating tentacle things with gasbags on their backs and insane engineering abilities, squid-headed reptile things with plasma katars, and big monkey things with gravity hammers, what's a purple (LAVENDER!) unicorn with magic?

Nicely done, it's refreshing to see a good Halo crossover with an original concept!  There's only one glaring problem...  There isn't enough of it!

The only way a Halo fic can succeed in this crowded market is through originality; this has that in the bag. I'm happy to have helped here, and I'm happy to help anypony on here who requests help with a concept, description, emotion or anything like that!

My claim to originality is more through portraying OC SPARTAN-IIIs as humans with insecurities, quirks, emotions, beliefs and values of their own; by showing that they are still only human, as much as some of them hate it. Even a super-soldier who has seen worlds burned, family and friends die, killed both his fellow man and alien hordes can still have a heart.

The only downside is, in the books, the armor could kill someone without augmentation. See, trying to move snaps your bones, and each time they break, your body automatically reacts. So the first time you move your arm, it breaks, and from there you can't help but flinch. This is why only Spartans have Moljnir armor, because their bones were reinforced to be able to take the kind of force the suit gives when you move. Oh, and their muscles were augmented as well. I'm guessing ODST armor doesn't have the same strength boosting capabilities as Spartan armor, though, so maybe that's the kind of armor she's going to get.

Robotic right arm, with Recon shouder, so no issues there. Collar/Breacher chest, provides armor without getting in the way, and knife is in a good position.

Great work so far, I am looking forwards to seeing Twilight's reaction to being tossed into a war on a scale she could never have imagined.  Everything looks rock solid so far, although I did notice one small grammatical error when she was casting the spell.  You accidentally used the present tense in this sentence which kind of threw me for a loop when I read it:

"Arcane energy swirls around the room, causing a great wind to scatter any loose papers."
