This story needs more background; for instance (and most importantly), what threat to Sweet Apple Acres would be so dire and immediate that Applejack and family (and extended family) could not work their way out from under and require Applejack to seek such means as to effectively sell herself, body and soul, to Fancy Pants in order to save the farm?
