1000 years ago lived Starswirl the Bearded. The greatest unicorn magician at the time, and the personal student of Princess Celestia. In his study into the nature of magic, Starswirl finds a spell unlike anything the world has ever known. Unfortunately for the old unicorn, casting this spell turns his entire world upside down and sideways and brings the elements of Harmony down along with him.
Well that explains a lot. Especially the part on where it rhymes. I'll be watching this.
The Doctor was the Element of Loyalty, interesting. I wonder if Starswirl will figure this out in the same way Twilight will. We at least know 4 of the Elements, so finding the other 2 shouldn't be TOO difficult.
Good, now we know who all of the elements are, where to find them, what they look like, so all of that is good. Now we just wait for Starswirl to fix all of this and become a princess.
Whelp, now I'm picturing his beard flowing like Celestia's mane. All ethereal and stuff.
For some reason I think Starswirl would be enraged at slot machines.
3412264 ...I'm not sure how to respond to that. Perhaps a question. What do you think of the story so far?

I like it, we have new characters we get to know, the common "cast the spell a bunch of times and everything's better" plan has been debunked, and it's funny. I love a good joke, especially irony.
3415937 who said the "cast it a bunch of times" was debunked? If anything that is the only thing that has worked so far.
What's this? Starswirl is getting bored? I guess he should play a game then.
wut?
