I read it before and I did it again. Good job, HoofBitingActionOverload. Especially with the "mistress" Applejack's part :pinkiehappy:

Even more delicious than the first time. Very nicely done. :ajsmug:

Edit: Damn. Who called out the downvote brigade?

This. Was. Fantastic. I'm totally floored. Amazing concept, amazing execution. I think it's the best thing you've written so far.

Well now, consider me interested then :ajsmug:

This was amazing, bravo!

Wow, this is indeed really good

I will never understand how people can enjoy this sort of thing.

3356888 thats what 90% of people think about my little pony in general, and you are here.... Saying that, so...... What does that say about you. ._.

3357279

That I'm human, I reckon. I'm not saying it's bad, just that I do not understand.

Look out! We got a deslike streak going on in this fic!
I'll give a 500 dollars prize to who brings me this ruffian DEAD OR ALIVE.

What's up with all the dislikes? This is some good ass shit man. :rainbowwild:

3356627
Oh, wow. Thank you so much!

Official bookplayer seal of approval?

Thank you!

3356565
Thanks for all your help, again.

3356888
It's sex. Surely it's not that hard to understand why anyone might enjoy it. Why ponies? Well, the jump from romantic relationship to physically intimate relationship isn't all that big, if you can accept one, you can't be far from accepting the other. Besides, erotica is a thousand times more compelling if you actually care about the characters involved.

3357373
I'd prefer that if they had a problem with this fic or anything said here, they would explain using words like an adult, but I guess some people on this site just aren't very mature. I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

3357481
Dunno. Maybe I smell bad, and they just can't stand it.

3357529

To clarify: by 'this sort of thing' I mean BDSM specifically. Sex I can understand, romance I very much like. In this case though... Dash seems to only like AJ because she's forceful, which is not a good basis of a relationship if you ask me.

...Holy fuck. Just reading the intro, I. Have. To. READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3357545
Ah, understood. I can't speak for anyone else, but my interest in BDSM, at least from a literary perspective, comes from the emotions involved. There's some really fascinating stuff going on in the brain when it comes to the act of submitting to someone else, especially when doing so willingly. It has much less to do with one person forcing the other to submit, as it does with the person submitting wholly entrusting their bodies and their lives to another. It's even more interesting when those feelings are translated into physical intimacy.

Here, Rainbow Dash doesn't like Applejack because she's forceful, she likes her because she knows she can trust Applejack with herself and with her feelings, and she knows Applejack can keep her safe. Really, Applejack never forces her to do anything. Everything Rainbow Dash does, she does of her own free will.

This is relevant to my interests. :pinkiehappy:

Most authors tend to write RD as very resistant to this sort of thing, but you were able to logically justify it by saying it was the ultimate daredevil move to fully trust another through BDSM.

Genius! Bravo!

and all of this because of rope. BECAUSE OF ROPE.

I PMed this story link to Miss invidia. She's really got a thing for AppleDash. It seems the horsefuckers are digging this, so I take it she will be pleased when she sees this.

I almost feel like I owe you an apology for starting this off with such a negative outlook. :twilightsheepish: Too often I find stories here that start well, set a nice stage, then fall apart halfway through.

This though...like, I'm struggling to find words. I've read a lot of stories that play around with BDSM as a theme, but I actually feel like I've learned something reading this. :pinkiehappy:

Not really sure what, though. Probably something like "Always lick a gifthorse in the ass." Or...something. :unsuresweetie:

This was...hm....
Well written.

3358738
Ahem, just because an individual likes to read about certain cartoon ponies engaging in coïtus, that doesn't mean that they want to partake in such an activity with said species, fictional or real. :ajsmug:

I liked it until Rainbow Dash's perspective got too self-negating. There were two points at which she seemed to consider tapping out before the point where I stopped enjoying it. The second one was basically the point where I stopped.

The first one alone was serious enough that she should've taken it - she was scared and only kept going through pure reaction to the fear, pure stubborn I'm-sobbing-but-I-can't-ever-stopness. Speaking as someone who has a history of bad experiences, that's the stuff of flashbulb memories and nightmares that last for years until you can't even remember their original context. Following it up with a better experience doesn't always help. Still, that was kind of okay. The decision made my skin crawl, but it definitely was her decision. It was a very in-character mistake to make.

The second one did something worse than bring up my own bad experiences. It threw me against the rocks of problems my friends have had, because I've had plenty of friends with self-esteem issues. It was the point where Rainbow Dash couldn't even move her legs anymore.

Rainbow Dash couldn’t have obeyed Applejack’s commands any longer whether she wanted to or not, and she wasn’t sure she wanted to anymore anyway.

Suddenly, Rainbow Dash remembered her black, empty world, her world without Applejack, and the promise she had made when she fell off the edge. She wouldn’t make Applejack leave her ever again.

This was for Applejack. Not for herself. She didn’t matter right now.

I'm supposed to care about Rainbow Dash in this scene, right? That means she has to care about herself. She has to be in this because she consents to be in this. She has to be in this because this is what she wanted. She has to be in this because it's a damn good time with a damn good friend. That's how she was thinking when the story started.

Here she is thinking she 'made' Applejack back off and terrify her. Here she is thinking she doesn't matter, that what she wants isn't relevant. Here she is basically doing everything to herself because she won't won't admit to herself that Applejack will still care about her if she screws up, won't let herself screw up, and tapping out would be screwing up. Here she is letting herself be abused way past her tolerances until she doesn't remember a thing of why she started things out.

I read the rest of it. Not in as much detail, but I had to go on if I was going to leave an informed comment. So I know that here she is, mistaking one hell of a rush for a foundational moment in a relationship. Here she is, having rushed into a kink she wasn't even sure she could get into, wanting that rush again and again without thinking of what it means. Here she is, spanked, rutted, and sleeping in the ropes. That's a good way to get bruises and a bad thing for athleticism. Her wings are going to be a wreck.

And honestly? All of that is plausible Rainbow, but it makes a total hash out of Applejack.

Being a great mistress shouldn't have come at the cost of being a good friend. It wasn't even her kink to begin with. It was Rainbow Dash's kink. Supposedly, this was the first time for both of them, at least for BDSM play. This just wasn't written as a plausible experiment.

3357545
It's a very valid opinion. But I think that BSDM, when it's the light type, could be a good basis for a relationship. Why? HoofBitingActionOverload explained well: the trust. In a BSDM relationship must be a very strong trust between the persons involved, especially from the submissive to the dominant. And that's the key in this fic: the trust that RD put in AJ, letting the farm pony know that little side of her which nopony ever think that exist.

Anyway, it's only my opinion :twilightsheepish:

3358939

i guess that's really all we can say now if you excuse me i have to leave and never come back :facehoof:

3359367
What are oponions? Are they a magic kind of onion?

SHL

3359693
Ouch, my mistake, thanks :twilightblush:

3359701
It's fine, but remember to bring me oponions.

3359602
Nothing to do here except post a pointless comment about that fact, you mean?:trixieshiftleft:

It does really do a good job of defining how much Rainbow Dash actually cares about Applejack, and how she'd give up her pride and arrogance for her.

Wow that was crazy hot good.
And it wasn't shameless clop , it had a real story to it that made it an excellent read. Great job :ajsmug:

3359312
Nope, they're marelesters. I mean, if you look at my stories written, you know I don't mind if people prefer their sex partners to whinny and neigh in bed.

Sequel? Continuation? This is one of the few bondage fics that gets into the whole trust aspect of it, and I think that puts it a cut above the rest.

3359324 Causal Quill,

I can see where you're coming from, but having involved myself in the BDSM community and learned their lingo, I can say that AJ and RD are actually doing this in a healthy way, even if neither could likely articulate it.

There's a concept called 'Power exchange' that is the basis for the D/s relationship. It's actually empowering for many (dare I say most) submissives to treat themselves as subordinate and meaningless to their Dominant's desires; you see, only those who HAVE power are in a position to voluntarily give it up to another. GIVING it to another is not only a cathartic release of responsibility, but also self-affirming. It was RD's gift to give.

The three factors here are consent, trust, and boundaries. A good Dominant knows the pleasure in a D/s scene isn't primarily about the plumbing, but about the emotions. What the submissive gets out of it is the -act- of submission -- and it IS an action when consent may be withdrawn at any time -- but the intensity of the emotions are heightened when that consent is tested. AJ pushed RD's boundaries very intentionally, awakening fears that she'd been abandoned. Reading between the lines, you can tell that as much as RD fears it may be the case, her refusal to tap out shows some deep part of her believes that AJ is still nearby, silently watching. It's in that moment of testing that RD makes the choice to keep submitting, and it wouldn't have any power if AJ hadn't pushed those boundaries. RD makes a choice to keep trusting, and when AJ fulfills that trust by catching her, that little act proves real what RD wants to be so. AJ keeps pushing a little bit after that, to keep riding the emotional wave of having her trust in submission fulfilled, but that was the clincher.

As for the bruising -- well, most subs I know would treasure the bruises in the days after. :)

That was totally hot. I think I found next week's spotlight fic for my group.

A bit telly and a repetitive use of words at times, but still really good.
O can step down. I coronate this the best BDSM fic on the whole internets.

3360420

I know what it's like to treasure a bruise, but most subs aren't trying to get into the Wonderbolts.

I wouldn't say I'm part of the BDSM community, but I've been on both sides of the ropes. Rainbow is kind of a dream sub, but also a dangerous one. She trusts her friends the way Twilight Sparkle trusts Princess Celestia. If Princess Celestia told Twilight Sparkle to teleport to the moon, she'd ask for pointers. She wouldn't ask if it was possible, or if she really should, she'd ask for a little advice, and then she'd try it. Imagine her getting that request from anypony else; I can hear, "That's not possible!" in Twilight Sparkle's voice just fine.

Rainbow probably wouldn't take a 'fly to the moon' request from Princess Celestia. She'd object about stratospheric conditions, hypoxia, or whatever applies here. She'd make an attempt if it was phrased as an order, but unless she's given a reason that puts her friends on the line, she'll hold back to not get herself killed doing it. If Applejack tells RD, "Y'all gotta fly to the moon RIGHT NOW," she'll risk hurting herself to pull it off. Just, bam, fly off with a rainbow contrail. That's why I focused on how this made a mess of Applejack's characterization. Rainbow was characterized fine.

That kind of loyalty doesn't come free. It arises because her friends don't take advantage and do stop her from going overboard. Rainbow Dash doesn't know the meaning of limits when it comes to helping her friends. Her understanding of "bad advice from friends" ends on "pranks". (I imagine that Gilda saved her from an even worse crowd in school.) That meant she probably shouldn't have been the submissive for first-time experimentation on this, and Applejack should've put her hoof down on what kind of play they could engage in anyways. She would know Rainbow Dash well enough to know that Rainbow would go way over the line if she thought it was what a friend wanted.

If someone can't be trusted to use the safeword when they need the safeword, then BDSM play with that person fails the Safe, Sane, and Consensual guidelines which are essential for safe play. And in the context of RD's athletic ambitions, there's an additional Safety problem here that wouldn't arise if it was (for instance) Fluttershy or Twilight Sparkle being tied down. Individual circumstances matter like that. Know your partners.

EDIT: TLDR version. Rainbow Dash has different safety requirements than most subs, so the play depicted in this fic is a safety violation. Also, Rainbow Dash blows past limits constantly, that's a thing for her character. In most contexts that's inspiring/uplifting, but in BDSM play it's a sanity violation.

3357555
A profession? :rainbowlaugh: Boy, I sure hope not. Thanks for reading.

3358221
Thanks. I think there are many different reasons Dash might be interested in trying something like this, thrill seeking only being one of those reasons.

3358584
Butterfly effect at its finest.

3358738
No need. I showed it to her before I posted the story.

3358799
Indeed, 'Always lick a gift horse in the ass' was the exact message I wanted to convey with this fic.

3358939
I'll take it. Thank you for reading.

3359477
See ya later. Thanks for giving this a chance.

3359602
I know, right? I swear, it's like there's another one in there every day. Right?

...Right?

3359861>>3359960>>3360485
Thank you!

3360550
I don't know about that, but I'm incredibly grateful and flattered that you would compare me to O at all. Thank you.

3360313
Maybe. I think this is very complete as is, though.

holy......
wow just....wow

3359693You spelled it wrong.

3359324>>3360863
Thank you very much for the feedback.

I'm not at all happy with Applejack's portrayal here. I had very little opportunity to give any insight into her point of view, which would have made her much more sympathetic, and her actions seem less harsh. I did what I could to show that Applejack isn't simply abusing Dash for her own pleasure, but she's doing this because she knows this is what Dash wants. I do disagree with the notion that Applejack ever abuses her at all, though.

I understand your concerns about Rainbow Dash's emotional response here, and I'm disappointed I wasn't able to address them in the fic. I understand why this could seem unhealthy or harmful. With that said, though, Rainbow Dash isn't really being abused here at all. The only thing that is even remotely similar to physical abuse is the switch, which Dash clearly enjoys. Applejack never pushes Rainbow Dash over the edge (not physically, at least) and she never forces her to make a decision between giving up (being a failure) or Applejack abandoning her. When Applejack pulls her back up, she begins untying Dash. She doesn't hesitate, she doesn't even ask Dash if she wants to continue. She lets Dash make the decision on her own, and Dash is the one who stops her and chooses to continue on from that point. Rainbow Dash is the one who makes the choice to submit to Applejack. Applejack never forces her to do so. Applejack never uses physical force to make Dash do anything, and she never asks Dash to do anything unreasonable or harmful to herself. In fact, she goes out of her way to help Dash more than once.

Dash's 'I can't move my legs' was clearly an exaggeration, considering she stood up and walked with little to no trouble immediately afterwards. If she really couldn't physically stand up, Applejack wouldn't have asked her to. Rainbow Dash chooses to put herself beneath Applejack in order to give herself to Applejack. That isn't in an inherently unhealthy thing to do, especially with a partner who understands both what she wants, and what her limits are, and I'd argue that Applejack understands both here.

As I mentioned before, Applejack never physically hurts Dash beyond using the switch, and she never asks Dash to do anything beyond her limits. Teasing and foreplay is hardly torture. She helps Dash when she needs help, and she gives Dash the emotional security she's seeking.

And as for her wings, Rainbow Dash has taken some pretty big hits and been in some pretty brutal crashes, and still come out with little more than a scratch. If I had to guess, pegasus wings are far more durable than you give them credit for. A little time tied up is unlikely to do any damage, even in the short term.

Again, though, thank you very much for your comments.

3362010
She isn't the easiest person to reach these days, so odds are she wouldn't have seen it. I had to make sure she did, because she could always use a nice pick-me-up, and she does love her horse porn.

3362073
I did it on purpoise.

3362010
All jokes and sarcasm aside, this was a very good read. It was descriptive as all hell - both emotionally and physically - fluid, sexy, and a little tear jerking (though I forget where actually). And I meant it when I said I felt like I learned something. Haven't seen much in the way of complex thought so far as reasons for why it's done when BDSM is involved in other fics. There're obvious answers, sure, but I like it when the detail of a story, especially in psychology, goes beyond the just the obvious.

I actually had a revelation about Applejack's characterization just now while writing a much longer comment about how it seemed odd and out of place, and that was that it's actually not odd and out of place. :rainbowderp: Applejack's desire to be independent and allow others to use her as their "rock", their place of center and helping hand in times of trouble, actually would lead her to be the type of pers- uh, pony, that would naturally take up the dominant role (in this case much more so than others) in any relationships she develops. That trait of being the most loyal of friends and dependable of ponies makes her basically perfect for the role of mistress in a setting like this, and your portrayal of this was spot on and very convincing.

So...yeh. Probably gonna go pour over the rest of your gallery now. I foresee fun times ahead. :pinkiehappy:
