Also, the story's been out since the 14th with weekly updates, so you'll have to forgive me when I don't understand what you're getting at. I can only spare 1-2 hours a day for this.

Without trying to spoil too much of the story, I just want to point out that it isn't necessarily set in canon Equestria. The story does point out a possible timeline however, but how you want to interpret it is up to you.
If Pure Platinum has ties to Princess Platinum...well, I'll let that question remain unanswered at the moment.
