Strange Harmony

T

Relic Wonder is an archaeologist, his team has been sent to explore the remnants of the Shadow Empire, otherwise known as the home of King Sombra. Whilst growing up, Relic heard countless stories about the heartless King and for years has wanted to visit his fallen kingdom. While exploring the castle of the king he makes the archaeological finding of the century, perhaps the millennium. And it is a simple book, a diary to be exact. After reading the first entry his head is in turmoil, that sounded nothing like the 'heartless beast' he's heard so much about. Exposing his finding would surely bring him and his team fame, but he can't bring himself to do it. This diary reveals more than Relic could have ever imagined, not only about Sombra and his kingdom, but about Equestria itself. (Inspired by the injustice done to King Sombra in the show. Also, credit to the artist, whomever he may be.)

I am intrigued. :trixieshiftright:Tell me more.

I love a good villain turned victum story!

Have you ever considered submitting this story to Equestria Daily? You can find out how to do so here.

3329477 I have actually, though I would first like to go back and change some parts I know could be better. I'm also working on a new, much better, cover image.

I agree with first three posters on this page, I'm going on second chapter now!

3336805 How did that go?

I can't wait to unveil what I have in store. :pinkiehappy: Though I must admit, the slow growth is a bit disheartening. :applejackunsure:

4250768 Just set your own pace! I personally don't like stories where it is too rushed. Be sure to include the details from previous chapters, even the first one; that helps to expand your story. That's what I did with couple of fics of mine.

you have the honors of being favorited!
