With the discovery of mana-powered gemstones, technology evolved in the land of Equestria.
Over the years, many ponies invented plenty of useful inventions for ponydom.
From household items like the television, radio, desktop computers, landline and mobile phones, to transportation like buses, aircrafts, and submarines.
But those things aren't what the fic is for.
Anyway, after her busy week in going to different inventions conventions, it was finally the weekend, and Twilight finally got the time to see what the fuss was about with the latest and popular online game: PKMN-MMORPG.
She was skeptical of trying it at first, but with Rainbow's insistence, she finally decided to try it out.
Join Twilight as she plays the game with her friends in an epic adventure...in pixels!

Only one can catch for 30 days with a shiny? Factoring in the innate rareness of shinies, then the rareness of a legendary. DAMN SPARKLE, Just a story, but damn that's some luck right off the bat.
Sounds fun! Heh, guess now I gotta wait like with all my stories.
But yeah, it wouldn't be much of a story if it didn't show what happened between game times. At least in my experience.
I'm thinking that this fic will go on when X/Y are released, which would be cool to see the Mane 6 + Spike go on a quest through Kalos!
Also. Twilight's reaction to Voltorb will be... interesting to say the least.
Or Rarity's reaction to Grimer or Trubbish.
And I will assume that Rainbow Dash would have a Braviary, because that would be pretty obvious.
This is an example of a Pokémon fic that's put together really well.
That's quite a thing, coming from one of my favourite Hack makers.
It seems that whenever I find you, you're making something to do with my main interest at the time.

“Well of course!” Rainbow grabbed the mouse and clicked the ‘Download’ link, and waited for the page to load. “It's like, the popular game ever!” Twilight wasn't so sure she would enjoy the game The download finally completed and she clicked the icon, which had a Pokeball on it. Suddenly, an error message popped up and Twilight's new computer crashed. A virus message popped up. "FUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!'
Well the shiny percentage is somewhere around 1/8200, I believe.
It would annoy me if I caught a wild legendary and it magically went out of my party after a month.

With the Poke Radar, it is possible to get a probability as high as 1 in 200.
By using the Masuda method, the chance becomes about 1 in 2048.
If one obtains a Shiny Charm, the chance is about 1 in 2730.
By combining the two methods above, the chance will become approximately 1 in 688.
... but enough of my ranting about the game mechanics in Pokemon.
