Every race in Equestria has their own unique holidays, but none are more ancient (or strict) than the traditional yak celebration of Snildarfest. The yaks have sung the same songs, smashed the same logs and consumed the same feasts as they have for thousands of moons, and that's just the way they like it.
However, when Yona invites her friends to help introduce some new holiday traditions, she drives a wedge between herself and her single-minded kinsfolk, and attracts a vicious storm from Equestria's distant past. What will become of Yakyakistan?

Rainbow Dash has managed to get herself into yet more trouble: following a crash that killed stunned the Gift Givers of the Grove, she is being forced to take up the mantle of the Spirit of Hearth's Warming.

Trapped in the hell of delivering gifts for the rest of eternity against her will, she has only one solution: taking the Grand Council of Holidays to court to dispute the Rule of the Clause and free her.

Unfortunately, she doesn't actually know any lawyers.

Also unfortunately, her best bet for a substitute is Starlight Glimmer.

The mare clenched her teeth. For had become well versed in the ways of the Foreverwood. Trampled snow meant activity, which in turn meant she was not alone. Her teeth clattered as she shuffled forwards, taking care as each step sowed and glid into the packed carpet of crystals with nary a creak. With that, the sounds of the forest overtook her. A faint whisper of the wind, the shift of icicles, marred with the explained pops and creaks her ears would barely comprehend. A hostile silence.

This story is a sequel to The Legend Of Nicholas

Nicholas is the resident human of Ponyville, accepted and loved by all the ponies, especially the foals. Every year on hearth's warming eve, Nicholas makes toys for every foal in town.

However lately, Nicholas has had strange dreams about himself, about a crystal star, and about an Alicorn. Every night he feel more and more restless, and somehow he feels he must go. Nicholas has always had questions about who he is, and why he is in Equestria.

Without knowing why, he has a feeling that this year he might find answers. Of course, that feeling is only made stronger when eight reindeer come for him during the night, asking him to travel with them to the far North.

It is time for Nicholas to face his destiny, and be who he was always meant to be.

Just shy of two decades before the return of Nightmare Moon, Princess Celestia received an ultimatum from the Griffon Kingdom's recently ascended heir: Concede a part of Equestria, or prepare for war.

The Princess chose neither, instead ordering her engineers to create a craft great enough to terrify the griffons and put an end to the war before it could have even begun. Two years after her order, Equestria had constructed its greatest airship yet, the Lux Aeterna.

With no time to spare, the craft was sent on its way almost immediately after its construction was finished, carrying with it five hundred esteemed guests and nearly a hundred crewponies. However, such a massive endeavour piqued the interest of not just the griffons', but also of an ancient presence nopony could foresee, let alone contend with...
