Determined to be a better friend than ever before, Fluttershy pulls out all the stops - but after an accidental reminder of Discord's betrayal, the meeting takes an unexpected turn.

Apple Bloom and Babs Seed decide to spend their Fall Break from school visiting their cousin Braeburn for a few days. They don't get to see him often, and it's always nice to catch up with the rest of the family.

Late one night, the two teenage mares hear something coming from the Appleoosa Cemetery...

However, some days tend to sway out of their usual forte (Much to an individual's liking or not). For Jacqueline, this seems like one of those days. She doesn't mind as much though. Besides, she gets to meet up with her kin. That'll prove to be fruitful, right?

Determined and eager, she stirs out from her early morning stupor.

There’s nothing like getting lost in a good book. Unless of course you’re quite literally lost in a good book with your only chance of escape hinging on a finicky fairy, in which case I’d imagine there’s nothing like that either. It’s times like these, when I’m tied to a stone slab, about to be sacrificed to fulfill a prophecy and bring about the end times, that I wonder about things: like, what have I done with my life? Why would Twilight even have this book in her library? I wonder what fairies taste like and how I should prepare them when I inevitably cook mine up and eat him?

I don't think this day could get worse.

When a friend grieves for you, and you can't do anything to comfort them, it's heartbreaking. There are no warm hugs, no comforting embraces, no words spoken to ease the mind. There is only the lonely spirit sitting by her grave, cursed to bear witness to those who grieve for her. And when an opportunity arises to intervene, to make things better, the spirit takes it.

Even though she's gone, Pinkie Pie hopes to get one final message across to her grieving friend: Never Stop Smiling.
