A month ago, a storyboard animatic from the Generation 5 movie that will start Generation 5 on September 24th got leaked, which I already talked about a little here. And now, the time has come to analyze this beautiful, little
Yesterday, I published my analysis of the first Generation 5 screenshot. Today, it's time to take a close look at the second Generation 5 screenshot, that doesn't contain as many interesting details, but gave birth to
Today, I have taken a close look at the synopsis of the Generation 5 Movie that is going to kick off Generation 5 in Autumn:
What we learn from this synopsis is that the three pony tribes are hostile to each other again and live separated, in a divided Equestria that has been split up into three individual kingdoms.
.
This happened faster than I thought. I didn't expect we would find out her full look so soon, only a little more than a month after we saw her in the leaked Generation 5 Storyboard Animatic. This is her, on the top of the blanket, the filly of the stallion from the leaked animatic, just look at her:
Here is Part 2 of my analysis of the Generation 5 Movie synopsis. I've split this off from my original analysis to reduce the length of the blog entries and to give both parts more exposure.
Following up on my analysis of the Hasbro Investor Event 2021 and Part One and
Generation 5 is definitely going to be wonderful, especially with all the news confirming that it will be a sequel to Friendship is Magic and keep the same universe. But
So, we now know the voice actors of the Generation 5 Movie, more than two and a half months before the release of the movie that starts our glorious My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic sequel that will show us the distant future of Equestria! And it means I got a lot of catching up to do, there are several months worth of Generation 5 news that I haven't publicly dissected yet because the full-CGI announcement for the entirety of Generation 5 has made it difficult for me, who
The announcement that all of Generation 5, not just the Movie that will start it but also the Generation 5 Show, will be animated in full CGI had me, albeit subconsciously, question whether I still want to analyze Generation 5 and all the news about it as deeply as I said I will before the announcement on February 25th. Even my optimistic words in
Overall, I like it! It was pleasant surprise.
It does contain a lot of easter eggs regarding Friendship is Magic for those who grow up on the show. (Especially when Mane Six briefly appears in the opening scene)
I thought characters are likable and nice use of foreshadowing... the songs are catchy.
The only con I can give is the villain... Sprout seems to be more of a funny character than a genuinely threat villain.
Because I sign up for a contest which is about creating Gen 5 stories, I will be watching the movie so I can get the idea what to do with my story and what do I think about the film.
I know some folks are not happy about this film being the sequel of FiM show but what the hell… I want to give it a chance and remember the old saying?
Never judge a book by its cover.

Just by looking at her design, even being a sister with Pipp, she's Rainbow Dash expect she's serious from my perspective. She's awesome.
For me, at least, I want to see more of Sunny's past explored, and more information on her father's research. I like these new characters a lot, but I wanna know more about Sunny the most.
What are your thoughts?
A couple weeks ago, Hasbro's investor event happened and it's high time to look into it in more detail and to write about it! There was surprisingly little information about Generation 5 during the event's livestream, but a few interesting observations could still be made.
