Have you ever had one of these moments where you stop and think: "Wait, do I actually not have any goddamn time to write some goddamn poneh-fiction?" and the answer, strange as it is, is an unenthusiastic "Yup," leaping through your window?

Hey guys. I'm currently (along with still writing DiH I promise) working more on my narration in the hopes of getting some work as an audiobook narrator. I've been recording samples of my writing as practice, and - wouldn't you know it - I did a bit from a particularly dramatic scene from the next chapter!
...In my opinion, BUT you mileage may vary. This scene between Twilight and Cady I have been sitting on for quite some time, so I just really wanted to get it out into the open finally. I was going to post it around the con... but that didn't work out.
I do hope you enjoy it despite it's smaller word count. Look out for chapter 6 to be a much longer one (if all goes well).

Well, here it is, chapter six. It's been a long time coming - especially the Discord/Celestia scene - but I hope it was worth the wait.
Look forward to a new chapter every week at or around this same time. And help keep me on that promise by following me on Twitter and Tumblr (and here) to bug me about it.
Enjoy the new chapter and the new movie. I might share my thoughts on it soon. ^^

USE SPOILERS PROPERLY, PEOPLE.
It is not that hard. Just don't stick the episode title in the title of the thread, use that nice little tag up there, and be vague so it doesn't pop up in people's feeds.
Yup, I counted. As of right now there are only 12 scenes left in DiH, and therefore in the Sympathy Series. Plus most of them are about done (at least half).
Then the project I put 7 years into is finished. Isn't that crazy?
Can I get it all uploaded by November? That's a big maybe to that. I'd love to have it all up by then so I can focus on NaNoWriMo.
Just please don't hate me y'all if I don't end up being able to keep that promise (and just don't hate me in general, please).
Spirit Airlines committed to offering the lowest fare to get you where you want to go. We are also committed to giving you more choices when its comes to how you fly and how you save.
The title comes from Truth or Consequences, which was a game show and is also the name of a town in New Mexico.
I certainly hope this one satisfies y'all's Discord/Twilight sweet tooth. It may have gotten a little repetitive at times, but this is a scene I've been sitting on for a couple years now.
I was hoping to post the story this month, but that didn't happen
I'm just not satisfied with how I laid it out
To explain why this particular chapter is taking so long, well... I guess I would say that this would be considered a pretty big shift in the story, one that leads to the next section of it all.
It's a pain in the butt, because the chapter lead up to 4000 words
That may sound great, but when I read it, it's kinda clunky as it is. So I'm gonna have to split up the chapter.
Sorry for the malfunction, folks! Here's the preview!
The season finally confirmed it. Alicorns are no big deal. Twilight got her flank kicked around by a regulair unicorn. Repeatedly. Celestia got her flank handed to her by Cryssalis with a single magical zap. She also couldn't handle Sombra. I'm calling it. Alicorns are a freaking joke. The only thing they got going for them is longevity.
Okay guys, it's up. It's not all that pretty and polished, it's kinda rough, but it is up for your eyes to read and with hope enjoy.
I'm calling it the part 2 to chapter 1 mostly because the real chapter two is going to take place a good time after these events and I wanted to give the time change its own chapter to sink in instead of just going [____ TIME LATER] and continuing in the same chapter.
AAAAAnd if things go well DiH will be one of the things I work on to get my word count up. Probably not as much since there are only a few parts I haven't actually written, but they are nonetheless needed for me to continue.
And I have been stalling, frankly. More than I should. But I mean, right now things are good , why rock the boat, right?Enjoy where we are at the moment, because things are about to get rocky.
I try to keep myself on a schedule, and what happens? Everything, apparently. Honestly, I wanted to wait and drop the next three chapters on y'all all at once. Especially since I'm just itching for you to read them, but that's turning out not to be. Perhaps next week there might be something of a surprise for you all.
Unfortunately, our emotions have a strong hold over a lot of people, me included. If left unchecked, this can cause trouble, and allow the devil and his minions access, giving them a chance to tempt us when our defenses are down and when we're ripe for temptation, particularly the temptation to either do others violence or, as in my case, to lose our tempers.
Looks like DiH is going to clock in at around 60-65k when completed. Just keeping you up-to-date since I only have two weeks left before I start posting , ready or not.

I made a little WIP video for the song I wrote from Twilight's POV in the penultimate chapter.Enjoy if you'd like.
Also be sure to have a look at my previous blog post. I'd really like some input on it if you can. :)
Have an awesome day and look forward to my series finale dropping soon.
