The time here is now 11:11AM, 11/11.
Let's remember the sacrifice of our fallen soldiers.
Today is a day everyone should honor. It is 9-11.
I know everyone probably knows what 9-11 is. But just in case, I will still explain.
On this day in 2001, it was a normal day. Kids were in school, adults were going to work, when all of a sudden, a plane crashed into one of the Twin Towers. The people assumed it was just an accident. It was when another plane crashed the other Twin Tower when they realized it was being done on purpose.
Many people died during this time.
Whilst I don’t remember this event, I still feel remorse for the casualties of this event. It ranks the second highest as the most bloodiest day in U.S. history, passing the D-Day landings and right behind the Battle of Antietam. 2,977 people lost their lives. May we have a moment of silence...
hey, guys guess you should know but yeah... man it feels like yesterday when you think about it. that day when you were either at work, school or just at home and suddenly the news goes on the tv. you watched as two city towers in the screen, one on fire while another left untouched. only for a short while, though. you then see a plane cruising right at the second one and instantly everything is engulfed in flames after that.
1. If you're looking to stock up on food that lasts a long time, try honey. Honey lasts so long, it has been discovered amongst ancient ruins in an edible state. Honey is the only edible food for humans that has no expiration date; it literally never goes bad.
oh I forgot to do a sett check last weekend uhhh
here have a meme instead
The US is an interesting place.
You'd be lying to yourself and everyone else if you tried to say that the US is... united. Made up of fifty states, all different from one another. They might as well just be micro-nations just flying under one flag. Sure. The neighbors will be similar, but they'll be radically different as well.
You can tell the difference between New York City and San Francisco. Detroit and Louisville.
Who in turn caused 9/11 by talking to his friend, Obama Bin Laden, who talked to Osama Bin Laden, therefore Wallace and Gromit caused 9/11.
Never forget the tragedy, but also, never forget the heros, and also, how America was able to come back from this, even though the emotional wounds haven't completely healed.
My mom says that she was tying my shoes for Kindergarten when the news broke.
Bless you guys, I hope your day will be a happy one
Tomorrow is 9-11. I will prepare my speech for tomorrow.
Yeah, it’s that day again.
I’m sure a lot of us wish this didn’t happen, but it did, and we just need to keep moving forward.
For now, I’ll be with my family mourning the losses of that day.
I may get back to work on my stories, but it’ll be hard to focus today, I’m sorry.
See you guys later.
A moment of silence for the tragedy that was 9/11... Thank you. What's Worse? What's Worse? The blog series were we take a look at two different things and see what's much worse! But today, it's only one.
Never has there been such a tragedy since those attacks 15 years ago. All families and victims who were involved will never forget and neither will I. For the firemen, officers, and doctors on the scene hundreds of lives were saved. We will never forget.
The story of 9/11, both a terror, a tragedy, something that could have easily been prevented had the CIA and FBI communicated better, but alas, no. But, it is also a story of hope, yes, true, many died that sad and fateful day, the tragedy of which we must hope will never be forgotten in all our hearts and minds and possibly even souls too, but we grew stronger re rebuilt and repaired, it took years, but we made something better, we cleared away the damage, building designs and ideas were
My Fellow Americans will know without my even needing to say what.
I remember it very clearly. I lived only 30 minutes north of NYC. I was in my 6th grade math class when the first plane hit. There was an announcement on the loudspeaker, and everyone went silent. For about a minute. Then there were murmurs, then gasps, then cries.
"My [family member] works there!"
9/11 happened 21 years ago today.
I'd like to take the time to remember not just the thousands that perished that day, but the millions more lives lost in the ensuing War on Terror over the following years. It wasn't just a one-and-done tragedy; it set off two decade's worth of fear and mistrust and death. It affected us all, one way or another.
