9/11 Remembrance · 8:30am Sep 11th, 2017

The story of 9/11, both a terror, a tragedy, something that could have easily been prevented had the CIA and FBI communicated better, but alas, no. But, it is also a story of hope, yes, true, many died that sad and fateful day, the tragedy of which we must hope will never be forgotten in all our hearts and minds and possibly even souls too, but we grew stronger re rebuilt and repaired, it took years, but we made something better, we cleared away the damage, building designs and ideas were suggested, other buildings were rebuilt and repaired first, but they would not carry as much significance as the twin towers would. A memorial was built to honor those that had died and fallen that day, and a museum too which you can visit both of these new historic landmarks, and in its place we got two higher, newer world trade centers, originally it was called the freedom tower to symbolize our hope and the American spirit and way, from the ashes we built up and in 10 years we the public, we Americans had what we wanted and demanded, a memorial, a reminder, and then we got more, true, we lost so much that day, but who can ever truly say how much we gained? We were better prepared for acts of terrorism from that day on, and yes, we've killed Osama Bin Laden, but new groups of terror rose to take its place, but we must remember that no matter how great the tragedy, no matter how seemingly impossible it seems to rebuild, we can still do it and try our very best. They said the project to rebuild could cost billions and take 10 years or more, they were right, and yet they still did it, because a symbol and a reminder of hope is greater than any symbol of fear. Hope, that's the one thing that will always bind us together in the end even if we cannot find love in our own hearts. Remember this day, remember the tragedy, the horror, the terror, but also remember the hope too.
I may not remember that day since I was barely just a baby, but I hope that we all can remember this day for what it truly means, what it has and always will mean, a day to stand strong and have hope.
I salute and respect all people currently serving on active duty in the military, off-duty, and veterans too, if you're reading this, I pray for you and your families, may god be with you.
If your family has been affected by 9/11, I also pray for you and will keep you in my heart.
But please, take this message to heart.
Have hope.
If you feel this message can help someone, then please, share it by all means.
Until next time, remember, stay strong, and no matter what happens next, always have hope in your hearts and minds.

I only now just realized that this ties into s7e18 with their message, ALMOST like the writers were planning this for some strange mysterious reason

I always find it amazing how we find time to honor our fallen with statues like that. It really shows how much we care about our fellow Americans, both alive and deceased.

A lot of stuff happen this year.
