This is a really delayed blog post, but I'd just once more like to thank Wanda Mare for putting so much time and effort into her dramatic reading of my story "Life is like a party." It means a lot to me, and I was anything but disappointed while listening to the final product.
I'd like to invite anyone interested in the dramatic reading to check it out.

Lessee here... I put together the prologue over the course of three days, and wrote out the entire first chapter in about three hours. In the twenty hours since I published that chapter, The Locals has been met with:
•Fourteen likes.
•Zero dislikes.
•Six comments, one of which was my own.
•Ninety-eight views.
•A constant spot on the Popular Stories sidebar.
•Sixty-one bookshelf additions.
•And twenty-six users tracking its updates.
PINKIE PIE: "...yeah, I don't really like looking back at this phase of mine either. Let me tell you, I was really wacko! If I saw any of my friends acting that way, I'd have them committed! Maybe let them out on weekends for a bit of fresh air."

The hype is all me and just me, nothing actually big. But boy, am I friggin' excited for Book 2. Chapter 22 and onwards begins the light touch on certain bits of lore, relations, dynamics and themes of Book 2 as we transition into the next major "arc", if you will. I count Book 1 as three arcs total. Can you guess their starting points? (Don't open the spoiler if you don't want to know their names at all until Book 1 is finished)
