IN WHICH IT'S COMING
Okay, so FimFic won't embed Imgur pics even though it says I can, but it'll take the same pic from Facebook? OK. Here is Lamp.
As I promised. Meanwhile, past the jump...
The final chapter of The Rejected needs a little more tweaking. Specifically, I need to find a way to get rid of eight words so the count for the chapter will be exactly 1500 (and the story as a whole will be exactly 11,500).
Yes, it's going to be a very short chapter. Just tying up loose ends to lead into the final story, which I've also been tweaking.
I spoke with a reader via PM about my mythical Pinkamena fic that I started writing five years ago but gave up on. When I described part of Ponk's AU backstory, this fellow -- who writes M-rated fics -- replied "Wow, that's dark." My response was I'd only described a single, albeit long, part of a six-part story; it gets darker.
I'm sorry I can't remember exactly which blogs I posted the synopsis in. It's 1am so I don't want to go archive diving right now.
Reader Mugen Kagemaru once requested, nay, demanded that I clean it up and post it (and write the final part). Thanks to massive changes in official canon, it would take a LOT of rewriting just on names alone, but I'm technically capable of it. However, I'm not sure I really want to when I've got so much else I want to do instead -- rewrite the first chapter of my Granny Smith epic and post the other six chapters, finish cleaning up and post Anon-A-Fix (I like that title, what do you think?), post the final SRA side-story, Her Shimmering Sunset (tentative title), and finish the last two or three stories to wrap up -- no pun intended -- the Burritoverse.
Also, my Pinkamena story is thematically almost identical to SRA, except with Ponies instead of EQG… and a lot more death.
I dunno. Let's see where I am a couple months down the road.
Stay tuned for the final Rejected chapter! Maybe today!
Peace out!
That lamp is WAY cooler than I expected and I am majorly glad I asked for a pic. :O Great find! :)
Tbh my character Fearshatter has a major contradiction to canon that I'm just too stubborn to change because I like my headcanon more than the show canon. And in my 3000 page logs with two other people that started 3 or 4 years ago, it's just not worth changing the canon and can still be enjoyed even without it. I might publish excerpts from it someday. The ones that can be enjoyed without background information that are more slice-of-life oriented or action paced.

More than worth what I paid for it. When I saw it just sitting there in a nearly empty room, I was legit shocked no one had bought it. It spoke to me. The "shade" -- such as it is -- isn't very shady, so I need to get a really low wattage bulb. Except for the actual electrical part of it and a metal thingy to hold the shade in place, it's made 100% out of popsicle sticks glued together.
In hindsight, I should have put a Sunset Shimmer toy next to it for scale.
When you mentioned the lamp I got a mental image of some bored kid throwing popsicle sticks together at summer camp. That is a real piece of craftsmanship and you're right, it was a hell of a deal at that price.
I have no idea how to make a picture show up on this site but here's something I came up with:

I'm sorry. I didn't intend it in a negative way, more joking. In fact I was legit flattered you cared so much. You didn't come off as a jerk at all. In fact, your appreciation for my work made me really want to continue it.
That lamp looks friggin cool *3* just imagine that with brown wood? Top seller my friend top seller . I might have to start collecting popsicle sticks 🤔. It's just a great investment overall and it's a bonus that this nice lamp got a nice home :)
