“Okay, sure, let me just—” Bezier froze, blinking. That was not Pharynx. At all. “Wait a minute...”
“I’m not as big of a fan of the new cafeteria menu as much as I am with the old one. We used to have a huge variety of proteins; steak, ribs, roasted ham, chicken, roasted deer, maybe some berries and apples. Now we have things like cake, cookies, salads, and other stuff. Though, I do really like the pasta they serve now. Probably because I’m a fan of almost any sort of pasta; spaghetti, elbow macaroni, rigatoni, bowtie... Blue Fang, Dagger, and Pharynx trotted through White Tail Woods, scouting ahead for the other Devil Horns. Unfortunately, however, the three Devil Horns were lost.
“So, Head of Patrol, which way?” Dagger asked, looking at Pharynx.
“I don’t know!” Pharynx snapped. “I’m a Sergeant, not your bucking map!”
“Fellas!” Blue cut in, causing the two to look at him. “Calm down. We just gotta keep on walking.”
“So, how was Hero?”
“He’s... an interesting kid, to say the least...” *winces* “I love him more than anything, but... he’s weird...”
“How do you mean? He can’t be that bad.”

*Cleaning her spear and armor*

“What now, Venom? Let me guess; Chrysalis never taught you how to read?”

He doesn't know where he's going. All he can hear is the wind rushing past his ears and his hooves hitting the ground.

Blood marks his hoofprints as he runs, but it's not his, and the thought makes him sick. He skids to a halt, the coppery, bitter taste of blood in his mouth as he tries not to swallow and feels it staining his teeth.
...He had broken his promise
He had sworn that he would never kill another creature. And he did.
Thorax: Hey I need you to come over for a second.
Pharynx: Why? It’s three in the morning...
Thorax: I’ve done something...bad. Very bad.
Pharynx: Uggh...put the corpse on ice, I’ll be there in a minute.
Thorax: What? No—it’s not...why would I—?
Pharynx: I’d do anything for Thorax.
Thorax: I want you to eat three meals a day and have a healthy sleep schedule.
Pharynx: Absolutely not.
*Hero and Zenex trot through the armory*
“I dunno about this... what if Pharynx finds out?”
“He won’t, we just need to find something that doesn’t make a lotta noise and will wake the entire hive. Even if they find a mess, we can blame it on the Devil Horns.”
“Um... okay...”
“Come on Zen, lighten up.”
“Okay, okay.”
*Looks around until something catches his eye* “Ooh! How about that?”
*Sleeping*
*Breaks down the door* “HERO!”
“Ahh! Where’s the fire?!”
*Steps in as well* “Pharynx, calm down. Hero, do you mind explaining why your room’s water bill is over the budget. And why you’ve been using a lot of hot water?”
*Thinks about all the time he’s burned his hoof with hot water* “Uh... it’s complicated...”
