Early this morning Ember and I boarded the train heading south. Ember mapped out our route which led us to the end of the line… a city called Dodge Junction. When we stepped off the train, I was blown away by how the town looked like something out of an old wild west film! I’m kinda embarrassed to admit it, but I was so lost in the moment that I kinda acted a bit… childlike. Oh well, what’s done is done.

Tonight certainly did not go as planned for me or my daughter! The rebels were able to breach me estate in an effort to kidnap Ashe! How she sympathizes with the methods of them I'll never understand! Thankfully a mix-up of some kind landed an invitation to one Lord Arc or Equestria. It was fortunate he was there, as the rebels were easily dispatched by him and his Honor Guards along with General Blackbeak.

Arc came back today! And he brought a new friend along too! Her name's Natalya, and she's never heard of cupcakes! I made sure she'll never forget them now! She seemed really nice and all, but... but my Pinkie Sense was going CRAZY the whole time she was here! Like she was dangerous, or something! But I know Arc's WAY too smart to let somepony like HER outsmart him!

I came back from my inspection tour of the Rainbow Factory to find that THING sitting on the throne like he owned it! This human, this… Hero of Light has gone too far this time! I’m going to see to it my plan comes to fruiting! Whether I sit on the throne or not, the mission MUST be completed! This is bigger than he is… bigger than I am! The fate of this land hangs in the balance! I will not entrust its fate to amateurs!

Type type type. I'm busy typing away. My parents ask if I'm working on my novel, and I say no, I'm writing more pony fanfiction. They sigh, and walk away. Clearly that isn't as good of a use of my time as banging my head against a wall and seeing what words fall out of it.

Hello everybrony.
So, I've finally found a way to be consistent again (300 words per day average, for now) and now I'm set on continuing my work with Other.
Thing is, it's been a year since the last time I worked on it. This time, I've spent it reconsidering my tastes in storytelling, my preferences in style, and trying out a different way of writing. Overall, I think I matured in a few fields.
However, this breaks the old flow I had in Other.

I met the new Lord Regent today. He... wasn't exactly what I imagined he'd be. I... may have fainted when I saw him. Probably not the best first impression, but... I just assumed he was a pony with a very strange name! Lord Arc was very kind to me! Even after the way I greeted him! Miss Pommel, the matron, informed me that he was most interested in meeting me for some reason. Perhaps he is a believer in proper education? Why he'd want to see ME still eludes me!
