Journal Entry - Volume 1 - Chapter 11 · 12:52am May 22nd, 2019
Dear Journal,
Today was... eventful, to say the least. It started out as normal as could be, with a hearty breakfast on the table! I thought I would have grown weary of apple based dishes by now! But these little ponies seem to be masters of making nearly everything they eat from apples! Granny Smith went upstairs to wake Apple Bloom as I sat with Big Mac and Applejack at the kitchen table eating Apple Pancakes! Cries for help came momentarily thereafter! We rushed upstairs to see what was amiss! Apparently Apple Bloom had run away from home in an effort to escape from... me! I had no idea she feared me so much! Admittedly, it made me quite sad!
The Apples split up to search and I joined them! Finding a bag of apple seeds missing from the barn, I followed a trail of seeds that led me to the Everfree Forest! While Twilight had warned me not to go there, I knew Apple Bloom must be there! In hindsight, I probably should have gone back to tell someone what I had found. But, I foolishly pressed on! Not long thereafter, I found her huddled up in a cave. Somehow I managed to convince her I meant her no harm and she allowed me to carry her home! Looks like I made a friend in this new land!
