Hmm, a story that has its lore based on some kind of tragic event that happened to the main character that results in them thinking they've been in Equestria all this time before they ultimately wake up in a completely different world? Now where have I heard of that?
Wherever I look, I can't escape it... The Pony-Me universe...
Fog on the Window's more or less a copy-pasted piece of the full Pony-Me taken out and given a bit more polish before being published on its own. To be honest, the inclusion of MLP into this thing was more or less shoehorned-in.
Rating system? What rating system? I'm here to roast your toaster and rock your stories into the ground!
For the first round, let's start simple and take a look at my first story on this humble site:
Oh. We're already on the first reboot?
So this darn diddly thingamabob was actually a 4-way collab of sorts. Story died when everyone else lost interest, as collabs do. It's why I don't normally do them anymore.
Anyway, let's get right into it.
Darkness.
Another? Already? Guess so. I hope you've got your seatbelts on kids, 'cause we're in for a hecuva wild ride with this fic!
I like how I decided to just tack on [and painfully] at the end there in the short description. Really helps with the screeches of "LOOK I'M A COOL DUDE WITH DARK THEMES IN HIS STORIES RIGHT???" in these early stories.
O hecc. I wrote an age-regression comedy?
Geez, I wasn't good at self-editing at all back then. Seems like I was also the type of author who made up excuses for why they didn't fix the problems or improve all that much, either.
"YOU!" she yelled, "TWILIGHT, YOU... YOU MISTAKE...ER, LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID TO MY SISTER!"
*snerk*
I should start tagging the stories in question here. Why wasn't I doing that before?
Anyway, here's today's story:
Yup. Fifth story in and we're already on a sidestory. Though, that isn't bad, per say. Just an observation.
Anyway, without further ado, let's jump right into tearing this thing apart! (Or maybe you do want more ado?)
*throws up*
It's that time again, ain't it? Equestria Forever sidestory and tombstone of I Think I Summoned a Ponk, here we come!
First of all, I'd like to say a little something about that cover art I drew for it: Stop it, get some help.
Yup. It's a Displaced story... technically(?)
No dillydallying or explanation this time 'round, let's get right into it.
Badly written on purpose because honestly, I feel like kludging my way through this anyways.
Just like 90% of your other stories?
It's not like I lost a bit of my soul or anything. Right?
75-follower special time!
This is pretty much the kind of story that What If morphs into every so often.
A trio of fillies watched overhead from atop a cliff. Said cliff would eventually become the base of operations for a top secret facility known as "B.U.T.T.S.", or "Bureau of Unbelievably Tame Time Steppers".
Fitting. The show officially ended yesterday, I've got some neat MLP fan music playing on loop, and I get to review a fic from my peak days in the fandom.
...
hecc.
I'm not even gonna try to figure out what was going through my head when I wrote this.
This here's a story that was a flopped attempt to write based on a writing prompt! I don't even remember what the prompt was or where it came from!
I fear for the next story to review.
The mare stopped abruptly just outside the door before springing ahead, bursting into (very random) song.
Yech. It's this story. Well, I suppose since I'm going through each story I've ever posted 'round here, I'd eventually have to get around to this.
It's... weird, short to say. I don't think I need to even comb through the chapters. The story is so pointless that the two chapters together hardly tell anything.
haha, pichu go brrr.
So, I've actually had a liking towards Pichu long before I ever joined the site. Naturally, when Smash Ultimate released with Pichu being playable again, I picked my new main without much hesitation. I was a Brawl Pikachu main anyway.
So, lingering ties to the Pokemon fandom aside, let's get onto the story!
Another random comedy.
Eh.
"I haz da problem."
Problem is that the story really doesn't come across as all that funny to me anymore. Still brings a smile, but it's not really funny anymore.
"Did you try turning it off and back on again?"
Story rewrite time!
“On the Structure of Hats: A Retrospective”
It's another game of "what's Twilight reading"!
Ayyy, another meme story!
WARNINGS: Shamwow and Flex Tape worship, memes, Bob Ross references, possession by the deity of Flex Tape, dabbing, raw and unedited word barf, and bad fanfiction.
Ya got that right. There's so much bad fanfiction here.
