shhhhhhhhhhhh just breaking the site again don't mind me

very, very, very experimental fic continues its slow progress as the deadline for bicyclette's sci-fi contest draws near. these chapters are about on-par with what if in terms of length, but oh boy have they been an interesting experience to write.

hey hey btw i've got a (couple of) public minecraft server(s)!

yeah so anyway here is my webbed site lol. there's an MC Classic server for building whatever, and an MC Beta 1.7.3 server for playing survival. I might eventually also put up a modern vanilla server as well, though given how I'm hosting a bunch of servers already for friends and a couple of discord servers, idk if the little slab of a PC I'm using to host 'em all would be able to manage lol.

summer break is almost here :V

basically got one week left lol. got an experimental fic in the works that's a sort-of direct sequel picking off right where Splintershard ended. no prior reading is necessary.

MAN it's been a while since I've toyed with writing styles.

Techie's SPICY Smokin' Toasted Self-Roasted Reviews #47: [Fog on the Window]! · 4:36am Oct 17th, 2020

Wherever I look, I can't escape it... The Pony-Me universe...

TFog on the Window
A single event can change one's life, for the better or the worse. A single friend, real or imagined, can make it better still.

Fog on the Window's more or less a copy-pasted piece of the full Pony-Me taken out and given a bit more polish before being published on its own. To be honest, the inclusion of MLP into this thing was more or less shoehorned-in.

The girl opened her eyes again, turning to stare at the frosty window beside her with a small grin. With a finger, she reached over to the frigid glass, smearing a fat line into the condensation. More lines followed after it, twisting and turning and connecting themselves to each other until a crude finger-painted picture had formed within the window’s borders.

And thus, Sweetie Giraffe was brought into existence! May the world tremble at her might.

Lisa nodded, curling up against her younger brother’s baby seat as she nestled herself inside her puffy winter jacket. With a final yawn, she closed her eyes, drifting off into her dreams.

A filly Twilight Sparkle opened her eyes, staring silent with wonder as she stepped out of her room in Canterlot Castle. Newly-chosen as Celestia’s personal student, she had much still to discover about her new life as a student.

Wow! It's like as if in Pony-Me, Lisa and Twilight are actually one and the same! Wooooow!

An infinite stretch of nothing filled Twilight’s view from the window – a blank canvas of sorts – ready for her to fill it with anything she wanted.

“This is your world, your dream, Twilight,” Celestia reminded the filly, “Keep working on it, and we might just have something beautiful on our hooves.”

And then I tried to write an entire story based around that idea.

“Now Twilight, it’s about time you wake up.”

Aw, gimme five more minutes!

The pounding of heavy boots thumped on the ground just beyond Lisa’s window as she caught sight of the other car’s driver. He took a few more wobbly steps before collapsing on the road face-first, a pockmarked beer can still in his grasp.

Don't drink and drive.

No.

No, her mind screamed again.

NO.

“NO!” Lisa screamed, turning back and clawing at her brother’s seatbelt. “NO NO NO NO!”

No.

Lisa lowered her head back to the glowing screen, pulling the grid of files aside as she clicked on a program.

Starting Pony-Me simulation framework, alpha build 4.21a. Please connect your headset and controller.

Man. One number and a decimal point off from the funny number.

“My own reality.” She whispered to herself, slipping the headset over her eyes.

To be honest, I think this is the only place where I ever mention Professor Argall's full name. Even I forgot what it was until I re-read this story.

Yeah, but if I remember correctly, you don't put 4.20, you put 4.2 (besides, you're the story author, you can always change it to the funny number)
