Blue, Sting, Mantis and Dagger sat down, just talking. The Mantis said something that they all agreed with.
“Yeah, the bees knees,” Blue said
“The cat’s pajamas,” Stinger followed up.
“It’s the... chickens trousers?”

“...”
“What the buck was that, Dagger?” Stinger asked.
“You guys took mine!”
“Alright guys, I’m the teacher,” Stinger said. Blue, Dagger, and Mantis looked up. “Any questions?”
Blue raised a hoof. “Why does being over weight, cause blue hair in some females?”
Then Mantis raised his hoof. “If video games make kids more violent, why are they still so easy to beat the crap out of?”
Then Dagger raised his hoof. “If your wife dies from child birth, can you press charges on the baby?”
The other Fangs laughed.
Blue, Dagger, Stinger, Mantis, and Zenex sat in front of the four older changelings’ instruments.
“Okay Zen. We’re rewriting your song, and we want you to sing okay?” Blue asked.
“Okay. I remember my parts.”
Blue smiled and watched as the others grabbed their instruments.

Blue, Dagger, Mantis, and Stinger walked off of the stage or their next show.
“That was awesome!” Dagger chirped.
Stinger nodded. “I know!” He smiled and looked over to see Silver looking over. He smiled and ran over. “Hey Silver! The show was amazing! Did you—”
“Yeah, yeah, where’s the check?” she asked.
“Oh... here it is.” He held his cut out. “I was thinking we could split it even—”
She snatched it. “Thaaank you.”
“B-But...”
Blue, Mantis, Dagger, and Stinger were in the academy, teaching some of the nymphs while Thorax watched.
Dagger walked over to a couple posters. “At our school, numbers are fun!” he said, reading off of the poster. He then walked over to a poster of the solar system. “And this is the sun. If you touch it, tssc, ooh that hurts.”
The others couldn’t help but laugh.
Blue looked at the crowd of ponies watching them. He smiled. “Before we leave, Canterlot, we wanna play one more song!”
The crowd cheered.
“That’s what I like to hear! Fillies and gentlecolts, The Queen’s Hive!”

While the Queen speaks of peace, and all the battles cease

Broken trotted through the hallways, looking around. Soon, he found the others. “Hey guys... I don’t wanna talk right now...”
“Oh, but I think you have some explaining to do...” Blue’s voice chimed in.
“Okay, I know you’re upset, and I’m sorry alright...”
Blue scoffed. “Not this time. We’re gonna make you really sorry.”
The Fangs took out Psycho syringes. Broken gulped. “G-Guys...?”
“FUCKING KILL!”
“Ahh!”
Blue Fang, by now, was wailing and muttering things like, “No one loves me...” and “why me...”
After a while, we felt a hoof on his shoulder. He turned over to see Kydra.
“No... not you too... please! I don’t wanna lose you! Wahahahhh!” Blue cried, burying his head into her chest.
“Aw, Bluey...” she patted his head gently and held him close. He sniffled, nuzzling her. She sighed and cradled him. He continued wailing.
“Please! I can’t help it! But I don’t wanna lose you! Ahahahhh!”
Blue Fang and the others were practicing for their first concert. They were quite excited for it, especially since it was at the hive.
“Okay, so Bez, Mels, Steel and his friends, Pharynx, Thorax, Ocellus, and the other Fangs already got tickets, right?” Hero asked.
“Yep,” Blue replied. “What about you? You got our songs ready?”
“Yeah! I was thinking that after you guys play Wasp Division, and To Tartarus and Back, you’d play Great War, and then—”
“Ahem.”
The other Fangs ran down the streets of Canterlot, finally stopping at the bank. Blue was sitting up there, admiring the stars in the sky.
“Okay, I have an idea,” Broken said. “We’ll go to other side of the bank and fly up, and try to talk him down.”
“Alright.” Kydra looked at Blue. “I’ll stay here.”
“Okay. Come on guys.”
The others ran off, leaving Kydra to look at Blue.
The others had flown up to the roof. “Hey! Blue!” Broken called out.
...But didn’t hit the ground, much to his dismay. Blue looked up, expecting to see one of the Fangs holding him in their magic...
...except, it was Kydra who saved him. He looked at her as she gently lowered him onto the ground.
Kydra ran over and wrapped him in a hug. “Blue! Don’t you ever, ever do that again!”
Blue blinked. “But... isn’t this what you wanted? Me gone? You were avoiding me for a week...”
Kydra shook her head. “No! I didn’t mean to make you...”

Kydra, Blue, Dagger, and Mantis stood together while Pharynx, Hive, and Stinger stood a few feet off.
“So, what are we doing again?” Kydra asked.
“Simple. We wanna see which couple can make out the best,” Stinger said.
“Wait, why us?” Mantis asked
Hive shrugged. “Well, Tempest, Ember, and Rose aren’t here, and Zenex and Flutterwings are underaged, so that’d be awkward to watch.”
“Okay guys, you know why you’re all here?”
“Uh... You called us here.”
“True. But, that’s not why I called you here.” *Walks over to a board* “We have a new target. Him!”
*Tilts heads in confusion*
“Uh... The U.S. pentagon?”
*Looks over* “Oh s**t. Wrong one...” *Scrambles on the board* “This guy!”
“Ohh!”
“That Pentagon.”
“Yes Sting, that Pentagon.”
Pharynx looked at the Fangs. “So, what are you’re Nightmare Night costumes?”
Blue held is head up. “I’m a special operations soldier.”
Broken stepped up. “I’m a bloodsucker.”
Mitchell was next. “I am a black widow spider.”
Then Kydra. “I’m a Wonderbolt.”
Mantis. “I’m a tank pilot.”
Stinger. “I’m an insane doctor.”
Dagger. “I’m the killer from that Nightmare Night movie.”
Then Hive. “I’m Captain Foresight during the Battle of Fort Hyaline.”
The others "ooh’d" at him.
So recently because I'm a totally normal person with a totally refined sense of taste when it comes to fiction, I got on a binge of going through some of those good old 1950s (and some from the 60s) sci-fi movies, rewatching ones I hadn't seen in ages and getting around to watching ones I'd never seen before, either at all or only parts of, and I thought for the heck of it I'd share some little "mini-reviews" I've written up of some of the ones I've seen...also because it's been ages since I
Pharynx walked around, grumbling to himself.
The Fangs looked over. “What’s wrong Phar?” Kydra asked.
He shrugged. “I dunno... just work up in the wrong side of the bed.”
“I know what you need,” Zenex said, an excited expression on his face. “Snuggle Fangs!”
Pharynx’s eyes widened. “WaitnoIdon’tneeda—”
Crash!
The Fang Gang had piled up on top of Pharynx. He grunted. “G-Guys! Get off of me! I don’t need one of your stupid 'Snuggle Fangs'!”
The Fangs ran towards a door, Dagger planting a charge on the door.
“I can’t believe we’re saving this blue lizard...” Dagger said.
“Her name is 'Ember'. And Thorax is worried about her,” Tempest said.
“Just pull the pin Dagger...” Zen said.
“Whatever...” Dagger pulled the pin and the charge blew down the door. He looked in, his crossbow up, ready to fire...
The Fangs, Pharynx, and Tempest sat in a house alongside a few Royal Guards and reformed changeling soldiers. They’d been tasked with taking the house, but their enemy greatly outnumbered them.
“Hey Zenny Boy!” Hive called out.
“Yes?” he trotted over.
“We need you to bring some reinforcements. Something quiet or something.”
“Okay.” Zen picked you his crossbows and left through the back door.
“Alright fellas, I have another target for you.”
“Is it that Pentagon guy again?”
“No Tempest. It is not.” *Points to the board, where an Alicorn's picture sat* “Moonlight Shimmer!”
*Spits up coffee* “What?!”
“Yes Pharynx. We’re hunting Moonlight.”
“I don’t think that’s necessary.”
“Look man, she’s bothering you. If you ain’t takin' action, we are.”
