Just wanted to remind y'all that the deadline for Nightmare Night in April submissions is next weekend. Even if you haven't started, you've still got plenty of time to sit down and write something, so don't delay!
So I learned something rather embarrassing a week ago.

So, there's been a hell of a lot of commotion the past month with that whole story surrounded usage of Nazism and how such hate groups and topics are seen in our community as a whole. I have no New Years plans, besides the usual watching the ball drop and getting piss drunk, so I'm gonna say normal operations are resuming. However, Poker Night will have to be put on hold for the moment. I lost the notebook I use to keep track of how the game goes, so until I find it I can't do anything with this except flesh out what I'm tentatively calling Daytime Events, which is basically the after-effects of each Night.

It's April, which means it's time for the annual Horror Write-Off I run every year, Nightmare Night in April!
The event is simple: in order to encourage more horror writing, I hold a write-off event in which anyone can submit a Horror Story, to be compiled by April 30th, the opposite day of the year from Halloween!

So, as I have come to understand, the main G5 IDW line has been replaced by/subsumed into a series of mini-series and one-shots that feels like the equivalent of a network trying to kill a show by bouncing it around the schedule. Hopefully I’m being paranoid there.
