Principal Cinch managed to leave Canterlot High with her dignity largely intact. Of course, that leaves the question of where she went afterwards. While the two schools celebrated the continuing existence of the universe, Cinch went off to sulk.

It just so happens that one member of the Canterlot faculty knows precisely how she sulks. And in his experience, he plays an essential part in the process. He may have shirked that duty for quite some time now, but tonight, he'll take up the mantle once again, whether Cinch likes it or not.

In the EQG Holiday Special, Sunset figured out that Anon-a-Miss was actually Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle and Applebloom.
But what if things happened differently?
What if Sunset never figured out who Anon-a-Miss really was?
What if her friends refused to listen after her little chat with Twilight?

The Sirens have been together forever. Since their banishment to Earth, they've rode out the highs and lows of history, trying to survive. In more than two thousand years on Earth, nothing has managed to ruin their friendship, even Sonata's boneheaded decision to come to America. But when Twilight and the Rainbooms took away their powers, things went south for the Dazzlings. The three fell on hard times, and are barely making ends meet. They're at each other's throats, and Adagio wants payback for what Twilight has done to them.

Sunset Shimmer has an interesting encounter with this world's version of a horse when she goes to help Applejack on the farm. This leads into a conversation that gets a bit more introspective than Sunset was probably hoping for when she came over that day. Sometimes you just need to hear the right advice from a friend though, and Applejack is plenty happy to oblige.

Set between the first Equestria Girls movie and Rainbow Rocks. Part of a series of fics I've been working on about Sunset's early days learning how friendship works, which starts with my previous story Asking a Favor. Can absolutely be read as a standalone though.

Sunset was very hurt and betrayed by her so-called friends after they callously dumped her during the Anon-A-Miss incident. However, she can't bring herself to leave; she can't go back to being the person she was - aloof, cold, and alone.

And so she buries it. Tries to forget it. Easier said than done.

It's been a good ten years since the defeat of the Dazzlings. Sunset Shimmer retired from her spot in the band and now acts as The Rainbooms manager. While an after concert autograph signing takes place Sunset Shimmer notices someone suspicious in line. What she discovers makes her question many things including her views on the three former sirens.

A blizzard has hit Canterlot, and because of it, schools out. Sonata uses this as an opportunity to show Aria and Adagio just how fun winter can be.

After their defeat at the hands of the Rainbooms, Adagio, Aria and Sonata search for a new motive. Anything to keep them alive. Their aimless wanderings bring them to the home of two people, who themselves have learned from past mistakes.

In the aftermath of the Friendship Games ordeal, Sunset has to figure out her feelings for this new Twilight while dealing with her feelings for Princess Twilight. Thankfully she has a very familiar face to help her out.

This is the fourth in my Equestria Girls "series" and contains spoilers for "Friendship Games" and it follows my story "Equestria Girls: Wrong Book". It also has a reference to my regular pony story "It All Started With A Nap".

Sunset's favorite jacket is looking pretty beaten up after that whole rainbow laser explosion, and she doesn't know the first thing about fixing leather. Obviously she knows someone who could help her, someone who's already agreed to be her friend. But after everything she's done, she doesn't really think she's in a position to be asking favors. She hasn't earned anyone's friendship yet, and she certainly doesn't deserve anyone's help. Still, she's got no other options. So she'll just have to swallow her pride and beg Rarity to take some pity on her.
Rarity certainly has her work cut out explaining to her how friendship works.
