You can find all kinds of stuff in a clinic waiting room. Uncomfortable chairs, a TV that's maybe a decade out of date, stacks of years-old magazines, cranky patients. Flash Sentry manages to find a new friend.

Story is set roughly 1-2 years prior to when the first Equestria Girls movie would have started.

When First Base's baseball practice gets cancelled at the last minute, his older brother tasks the CHS Drama Club with entertaining him and his best friend Button Mash. First Base ends up entertaining the Drama Club instead. This experience and his brother's support encourages First Base to do something he has never done before.

Idolize; Verb: to revere or love greatly something in excess.

It isn't often someone idolizes someone. Some would call that excessive or premature; especially in today's young culture. To truly idolize someone is hard to come upon when we use the word so freely. People 'idolize' this and that, not truly knowing the gravity of what the word really means; the commitment it entails.

That said, Twilight Sparkle could re-write the entire dictionary in her sleep; fixing all the inconsistencies and mistakes. That is why when she believes she idolizes Fleur de Lis, she isn't just making mountains out of molehills.

Of course everyone adores Fleur. But none so zealously as Twilight Sparkle... So why does Fleur hate her so much?

Still based on Fleur de Lis' clean and burning hatred oozing from "Friendship Games".

Story canon-compliant up through the end of Season Four. It stands on its own, but it occurs after Slice of Life. In relation to my other CheesePie stories, it falls just after Goodbye, Boneless and just before Good Morning, Beautiful. Oh, yes, and implied CheesePie, although this shouldn't be a big surprise.
