Hollow Shades is a small farming and lumberjacking community, a tiny bubble of Equestria existing on the edge of the Everfree Forest. Things have been hard-going since the lumber mill was closed down and the town is slowly dying out. A young filly named Corn Crib however might have found a solution when she makes a bargin with a talking scarecrow she meets along the road. But who is Lord Barleycorn, and how can he possibly breath life back into Hollow Shades?

This is a lighthearted story that contains lots of OCs outside of Ponyville. The mane six will appear, but not until later chapters.

King Sombra’s dark influence was obliterated by the Crystal Heart, and the villain is well and truly dead. But when he attempts to steal the afterlife of an innocent victim, a human spirit is left hurtling towards Equestria, where this unfortunate soul is revived into the only vessel available: the reconstituted body of King Sombra himself.

Thus, a cheerfully oblivious alien is crammed into the form of the most evil and malicious being Equestria has ever known. Not that Shining Armor and Cadence know this, of course. As far as they are concerned, the King is back and he’s lost his fricking mind.

Ever wondered if there was anyone who kept a watch over all the crossovers that ever happened? Well, this is the story of them. The Dimensions Uniting Multiverse Bureau is an organization dedicated to keeping a watch over every single interdimensional travel happening. Their reach is wide, their funding inexplicably limitless and their technology always advanced, even in the greatest science fiction world. They are all powerful.

So of course they'll take a team comprised out of a viking with the adaptability of a dodo, a ninja with the inclination to accuse everybody of having killed his sensei, a cyborg with a violent dislike for the explanation "It's magic", and a cynical, alcoholic field agent that values avoiding paperwork over preserving sentient life, and send this collection of lunatics to Equestria, just to check on something.

A young Pegasus, Who just happens to be the apprentice of Chrysalis, steals the Elements of Harmony, attempting to bring them back to her master. But it turns out enemies every pony thought were gone or good have changed. Will Equestria survive the outcome? What if the Elements fall into the wrong hands? What will happen to Flash Fire and Chrysalis? What will happen you ask? Well just read and see!
