A mare takes a walk down a Ponyvillian borough, the ponies are busy with their lives.

It's been a long time coming. Finally, during a forced get-together with some of her classmates for a school project, Diamond Tiara is going to get what is coming to her.

Rarity is a woman of many talents, including the absolute control over her vocabulary. At least, that's what she thought, until Rainbow Dash made a bet with her. A bet that Rarity can't go without saying the word "darling." Rarity's gonna need a lot of quarters by the time this is over.

My attempt to take one joke from Equestria Girls, and somehow turn it into a fic, in the same vein as Why Do We Hate Each Other? Another quick comedy story I wrote because I was bored.

When Twilight Sparkle brought the human internet to Equestria, among the many consequences, there was one she hadn’t anticipated:

Disclaimer: I'm not saying this is a crackfic, but I'm also not saying that.

Most ponies aren't used to seeing the dark side of Pinkie Pie. She's Ponyville's resident party pony, after all! She's the mare you go to when you're in need of a smile. For her to lose that charm and energy... well, it's practically unthinkable!

However, not even she is immune to having a Bad Day™, and when a day like that hits, it hits hard. But if she's the pony that's supposed to help ponies smile, who is going to help her smile?

Her husband, of course.

Realizing she hadn't tried to serve dinner once post-reformation, Starlight Glimmer decided to end her unintentional "streak" and made dinner for Princess Twilight, Spike, Eric Reed, and a visiting Sunset Shimmer. Being the big-hearted pony she is, Starlight was proud to do something for her friends, and her huge grin proved it.

It was just too bad her dinner, which she dubbed "Glimmer Surprise", looked and smelled horrendous.

This story is one of a still-growing series of stories that all take place after A Giant Adventure to Equestria. However, it is not necessary to read any of them to understand this story, but "A Giant Adventure to Equestria" does show the details of how and why the human OC Eric Reed is in Equestria
