So, I'm just a regular guy, right? I mean, I'm nothing special. I'm a college guy, just starting out, and all of a sudden while writing a paper, PRINCESS LUNA falls into my bedroom! Next thing I know, I'm being pulled into Equestria, Celestia doesnt like me, and i need to help fight Nightmare moon! My first fic, so constructive criticism is appreciated.

It was not that long ago when you first came to Equestria. You like it there, but even under the kind and friendly patronage of Princess Luna, you cannot seem to rid yourself of your age-old self-doubts and disdain of your past.

Noticing your plight, Luna decides to help you with that.

The first night in Equestria is uneasy. It is restless. You quiver in your sleep. You've been separated from everyone you've ever known, your future looks grim, and you're not sure if you can do anything. You're small. Insignificant.

But someone, very likely an angel, comes into your dreams to say that's just not true. And in each other, you and Luna see more than just friends. Maybe you see... hope.

Graeme's night terrors have tormented him almost every night since he was a child, and there seems to be no way for him to overcome them. Exhausted, desperate, and with no salvation in sight... That is, until his dreams call out to the Princess of the Night herself.

But, is the regal alicorn actually real, or just a figment of his imagination drawn into his dreamscape by his subconscious mind?

Twilight Sparkle, always the studious mare, was conducting an experiment one day.
