After a years-long, hard fought battle of the browsers, Internet Explorer, once the reigning king of the interwebz, is overthrown. First by its archrival, Firefox, of whom had risen from the ashes of a fallen ally, and then Chrome. Shunned and memed out of existence, there was no place anymore for the old browser. Even its parent corporation had succeeded it with a faster, Edge-ier browser.

And guess where the heck Internet Explorer ended up?

Slightly modified to tie into MLP a bit more. I didn't mention the Mane Six by name enough times.

No really, Princess Celestia has a lot of sex. Really. Cadance's claims to the contrary are unfounded, wholly false, and her concern over the matter is entirely misplaced. There is absolutely no reason to continue discussing the matter. So let's just drop the subject completely and move on.

Sometimes, a mare just needs to climb a tree and stay there for hours and hours and hours on end. Octavia does not find this amusing, however. On the eve of her big audition for the Royal Canterlot Symphony, she needs her sleep. Unfortunately for her, Vinyl has the keys to their apartment, and she just won't get down from her darned tree.

It's going to be an interesting night... But maybe not for the reasons Octavia suspects.

The life of a traveling musician is difficult. For Octavia, home is no longer a place but a cello case. All the same, she continues looking for new places. Every week brings a new city and a new hotel room. Every night brings a new gig or a new bar.

Late one of these nights, she finds herself roaming the streets of Canterlot, the city that once fooled her into believing it was home. Now she's just there for the gigs.

Octavia has a unique way of finding inspiration, but as she does she reminisces about a day in her past. A day she will never forget.

Octavia is just a girl playing cello in her high school band. Sure, she has dreams of performing in front of a larger, and frankly, more receptive audience, but she never imagined this. She never imagined getting to meet... them.

Set in Equestria Girls universe post-Friendship Games.

Sometimes, the moments that define our lives, that change the course of our destiny, aren't grand adventures or powerful forces. Sometimes, they're just everyday events, lined up like dominoes, waiting for a tiny breath of air to send them tumbling down.
