Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash Find themselves in trouble, with their lives on the line. Will they get out alive?

Hey guys, this is my first pony fic. However, I do take constructive criticism well. I can only get better if I know what I'm doing wrong.

Getting presents on Hearth's Warming is great. Everypony knows, however, that what's even better is giving somepony else the perfect present. Twilight Sparkle figured out long ago that seeing their eyes light up with the magic that can only be felt on this special day was what really brought ponies closer together in each other's hearts.

So, when Rainbow Dash shows up early Hearth's Warming morning with a rickety old sleigh and tells her to hop in, how can she refuse? After all, sometimes the best gifts are the most unexpected ones.

The fact that she was born late during Heart’s Warming Eve? Well, that was simply a happy coincidence.

Twins, every mother’s blessing and curse. Princess Firestar, fresh off almost a year of being bedridden, now gets to deal with two little rambunctious colts that will not sit still for the life of them.

That, plus a lovable idiot of a husband that will always have a warm place in her heart, even if the rest of the world is anything but warm. Still, even with her responsibilities of being the Commander of Cloudsdale and a princess, Firestar wouldn’t change a thing.

After all, when it’s her family’s first Hearth’s Warming Eve together, a family that almost didn’t happen, she has quite a lot to be thankful for, but also a lot to think about.

This story is about an introverted DJ with an extreme alter-ego who is looking to catch the eye of a famous cellist, a lyrist trying to win over a candy maker at the mall, and something about how love is never easy or straight-forward.

We all have dreams, goals, and ideas. We all want for something, want to ascribe to be something. But… what happens once you’ve achieved that goal? What do you do if you’ll never achieve that goal? If circumstances in life prevent you from ever being able to do the thing you love?

Two ponies, two friends, each have to deal with a different version of that question. But maybe they can find the answer together, and maybe, just maybe, they’ll find something else as well.

Months have passed since Twilight Sparkle brought Rainbow Dash to visit her parents in Canterlot, and now it's time for her to return the favor. This time, however, neither of them is carrying a secret to reveal.

Rather than relaxation, she soon learns more about Rainbow's life than she ever bothered to ask about. Twilight tries to understand the past, what foundation for a happy life might exist beyond what she knows, and what new challenges their life together might face.

Twilight Sparkle is lonely and is determined to change that.

She’s had her eyes on Rainbow Dash for a while, but she doesn’t know how to truly express her feelings. No books were able to properly explain how to cope with her feelings of love, leaving her frustrated and confused. She has tried dropping subtle hints here and there, but Rainbow is oblivious to her advances and Twilight is too nervous to spill her heart out to her.

So she waits, spending many months devising a way to get Rainbow to see her more than just a good friend. Given a set of perfect circumstances, Twilight is finally able to put her plan into action. Now, Twilight might finally be able to see if she can turn her friendship with Rainbow into something wonderful.
