Advances in science and magic had detected the Anomaly – a star in the heavens that was unlike all the others in the night sky. Intense research had only served to deepen the mystery. Although Equus had a vibrant space program, going forty-two light years to investigate had been considered impossible until now. The Cosmic Lotus program was born, and over a hundred crew-members of multiple species were sent into the void to discover the unknown. After a journey of years, what they would find would both amaze and terrify them.

The prequel to this story is the "Ad Astra" arc in the story – "Life, Love, and Death in the House of Path".

This will be a crossover story with my "Chakat Universe".

Centuries have passed since the end of G4, and ponies have once again segregated by tribe. In this land divided by fear and hatred, Sunny Starscout still believes in the magic of friendship. She finds her inspiration in the ponies who came before.

Saturday was a day to unwind, a day to sleep late, to eat brunch instead of breakfast, go out to the lake, or to invite friends over for a barbeque. Unless the lawnmower was broken and Ms. Bundermann is on the prowl.

Having a unicorn friend doesn’t help fix the lawnmower, but friends of friends can make short work of the lawn. It’s technically not a barbeque if the grill isn’t on, but with a whole herd of ponies nomming the grass and musicals on the boombox, with a selection of drinks to suit everypony’s taste, it’s close enough.

I only went into psychology to learn how to better manipulate those around me. Instead I learned something about myself. The road to redemption is a long one, and I'm amazed I've come this far in all honesty.

Every year, Dinky is part of a big Hearth’s Warming gathering, and this year she impulsively decided to invite Lily Longsocks, her fillyfriend. Of course Derpy says yes; the more ponies, the merrier.
