On the day of his breakup with yet another mare, Braeburn finds an eye in his bathroom mirror. Naturally, this leads to speaking to an eldritch abomination, a ritual, and... even love?

I'm not sure what Lovecraftian fever dream induced this story, but I apologize in advance.

Cinderheart the fire mage likes superheroes. Enough to don a cowl of magic and patrol the night in her hometown of Canterlot. Sadly, her first attempt at crimewatch isn't going so well. Injured and discouraged, she needs a lifeline. A sidekick. A trustworthy civilian with the smarts, skills, and resources to act as competent support.

She gets Lyra Heartstrings instead.

Pinkamena just wants to stay in her own lane. If Pinkie has a problem that needs yelled at, kicked at, or jeeringly tolerated until it goes away, she can handle it. But what’s a sourfaced split personality to do when her agreeable half vanishes overnight like a fart in the wind?

Pinkamena is not a sleuth. Nor a convincing actress. But she’ll need to be both to guise as Pinkie and solve the mystery of where her better half went.

It's been a long time since Trixie Lulamoon could call herself "Great and Powerful". After her humiliation at Ponyville, she searched far and wide across Equestria, looking for some way to restore her reputation and shore up her pride.

Lucky for her, Princess Luna has decided to re-open a very special division of the Guard: The Dreamguard. Trixie was only one of many to apply, but she was the very first to be accepted. Now she has a roof over her head, three square meals a day, and lessons in dreamwalking taught to her by the Princess of the Night, herself!

As far as Trixie is concerned, life couldn't be better. But the Dreamrealms have wonders and dangers all their own.

But of course I'm not the first; Sapphire and Sandstone's treasure-hunting origin occurs in the linked prequel fic. Reading it is only necessary to understand the epilogue.

The worst thing about Land Ponies is they’re always out of water. Always out of reach. Living close to the coastline is enough to drive a Sea Pony crazy with curiosity. But with grit, engineering, and the timely return of Magic to the world, she may make some friends yet.
