A blue box has fallen out of the sky, and crashed right into Twilight's Library! A strange brown stallion, calling himself the Doctor stumbles out. Soon after, strange stone Pegasus are everywhere, one of resident weather ponies has vanished, and Twilight is tossed in the middle! The Doctor and Twilight have to find out what's going on, before it's too late!

The Doctor and Twilight leap into the future, though it may be a far darker place than they envision. In the mean time somehow the Doctor keeps crashing around Ponyville, something to do with Fluttershy, but what?

You'd think that being trapped in stone would mean that, if nothing else, I could get some peace and quiet. Unfortunately, it seems that Celestia has other ideas.

She has appointed these ponies... these 'Keepers', as she calls them, to keep me entertained during my incarceration.

Honestly? I'd prefer the boredom.

In the breakaway state of Unicornia, a certain somepony is in grave danger, and completely unaware. Twilight, Pinkie, Mac, and Braeburn attempt to retrieve her from a speakeasy under the ownership of the Unicornian Platinum Council, a gang/political party bent on asserting the racial superiority of the more magical tribe. Will it be a routine snatch-and-run mission, or will conflict from the past arise to put their lives in danger?

While accompanying the Sheriff on an important errand in the desert, Braeburn ponders over the Appleloosan way of life.

Braeburn has a second job. When it's not apple bucking season, he helps out with rodeos as a cowboy. Herding steers from one town to the next, it's a job that keeps him out on the open range. One night, as he sits next to his campfire, he reflects about his new occupation and the life he leads.

Rainbow Dash wants the latest Daring Do. And she'll get it, even if it means sharing the only book in Cloudsdale with the biggest jerk in Cloudsdale.

Being just about the only pony in town without somepony to call her own, Rarity decides that it's time to take action and gets on the next train for Canterlot, determined to find the perfect stallion to courtship with.

Even with her friend Fancypants by her side though, can she really just meet somepony and fall in love?

...Or is there something that she's been oblivious to all this time; never taking notice, and never taking action?
