Sonata is left alone in a supermarket by the other Dazzlings. Presumably left for dead, she’ll have to pull together all her survival skills to if she’s going to make it on her own.

Well the Battle of the Bands is over the good guys won and the Dazzlings lost, big time. Than after a post battle fight Adagio is left with no powers, no minions, and no ride home. But a lonely walk will teach the sinister songstress a valuable lesson about friendship and that maybe just maybe Aria and Sonata are more than just her minions.

Of all the creatures in Equestria, none are more in tune with the magic of music than the seaponies. Everything about their culture is built around it. But what happens when a seapony doesn't have that connection to song that defines them? How far would they go to find acceptance from those around them?

Throughout their years on this strange world called Earth, the Dazzlings have gotten used to the lifestyle humans live. They've even blended in as well as they can, and now with their powers stripped, they have no choice. Unfortunately, on this Christmas Eve, these three best friends are anything but merry. Adagio is working and Aria is being bugged by Sonata to do all of the stupid Christmas things, like shopping and seeing Santa Claus.

...but, perhaps, this year, they will all learn a lesson about the holiday.

After hundreds of years of being trapped in a weak and lame world, the Dazzlings are finding that adapting is just unlikely. They wish to rule it, only to find that all the great people that had power in the world they are in are already dead. But they're not going to give up so easily.

After all, what could go wrong, right?

(WARNING: MINOR RAINBOW ROCKS SPOILERS)

In a tribute to "The Three Stooges," Adagio, Aria, and Sonata plot to take over Canterlot with a variety of farcical schemes. They try their very best not to kill each other in the process.

Rated E, with the caveat that that there's gratuitous amounts of Sonata abuse. At the time of writing, I had not seen "Rainbow Rocks," so there may be some slight differences between the canon events and my story.

After their defeat, Aria is pushing Sonata over and Adagio has finally enough of it.
She decides to give Aria a proper punishment.

NOTE 2: My native tongue isn't English, it's German. But it should now be decent English, because a good American friend called Desparil was so kind to help me with this story.

Three months have gone by since the "battle of the bands" incident. Without their magic, it is inevitable that they would end up on the street. Rough times ahead are a guarantee, but fate is never so cruel.

The Dazzling's have been given a deal that, if met, will return them to Equestria. But their new quest will be no easy ride, and Adagio is convinced that she will not leave the human world until she finds her sister, Aria.

Sonata Dusk wants to cure her boredom, and why not change her look in the process? She's seen Aria do it a few times before, it wont be too hard!
