An old story of mine from back when I only had a fanfiction.net account.

This story is labeled Arc 1, but there is no Arc 2. So there will be some plot threads that didn't get wrapped up, because I was saving them for later. There's a teaser for Arc 2 at the end, but I never wrote it. If this story becomes insanely popular for some reason I might reconsider.

The two rarely see eye to eye, and tensions between them are high. But when Twilight takes in one of her daughter's friends, Anthea, as her own student, it leaves the pegasus feeling like her own mom has abandoned her. With tensions already running high, will this sudden change in Star's life cause her to go over the edge and destroy the relationship she has with her mom?

Set in the kilala97 universe, whose art I recommend you check out, these next generation ponies are based off the pairings she ships, and who their kids are. The refusal of princess Twilight Sparkle to marry a noble of Luna and Celestia's choosing, and running with Flash Sentry instead, leads to the Elements of Harmony siding against the Goddesses, and the people of Canterlot choosing sides.
Now, a wounded and weakened Flash Sentry must reach Canterlot, hoping to reunite with Twilight Sparkle, who was taken by Princess Luna. In the way there, he and the Elements must fight Twilight's suitors, three Guard captains of noble blood.
Note for FlashLight haters: You'll get to read about Flash Sentry being beaten mercilessly for most of the story, so you can enjoy it too.
