Aurelian and Faye have parted with Aestus and Brayok to wander the globe for a year. Their trek leads them to new and familiar faces, new sights and experiences and a great deal of self reflection for Aurelian as he attempts to move forward not only from his thousands of years of isolation but from the great highs and lows of his long and storied past. The ancient Alicorn begins to see things in a new light and finds something that was right beside him the whole time.

This story is a sequel to At the End of Ambition

Tirek, Chrysalis and Cozy Glow are processing their chance encounter with Aurelian very differently. At a temporary impasse, the three part ways to pursue different paths and find truth, reflection, comfort and strength where they did not expect. In the midst of their travels, a long sleeping power that no creature can control is brought back to the world; leaving grand revelations for modern Equestria in its wake.

Ever since he and Twilight Sparkle had first moved to Ponyville, Spike's had a crush on Rarity. At first he'd thought it was a secret - the big secret in his life - but he'd soon come to realize that the signs he had been displaying since day one were...really, really obvious. His first reaction had been mortification, followed by anger (after all, how could his friends have just let him act like that?!), but eventually he'd come to the conclusion that, sometimes, a friend within a circle just happens to develop a crush upon another friend, and that it's really no big deal.

But then something starts to nag at him: If Rarity's known about his feelings for some undetermined amount of time, how come she's spent all this time without even acknowledging that she does know? So, he decides to ask if he can come over for tea, with the intention of discussing these thoughts and feelings with her.

NOTE: Sex tag is for brief mentions of it during their conversation. There's no explicit talk, and it's not a recurring point of discussion.

The clock is ticking. After being united in Canterlot's crystal mines, Twilight and Cadance, the real Cadance, must combat the threat of whatever infiltrated the alicorn's wedding, or risk losing not only Twilight's brother, but her friends, too. The solution will be difficult and the path fraught with danger, but with the power of love on their side, they can do anything. It will require a lot of love, though. Specifically, a love of bullets.

This was a sort of stream of consciousness fic that I wrote while feeling down. A little morbid, a little bit of world building.

Chrysalis had a happy childhood, er, grubhood. Raised in the hallowed tradition of changeling princesses, she studied hard, played pranks, and loved her siblings. It was all so... perfect! Then one day the illusions around which she had built her life were revealed, and everything came crashing down...

I do however at times get some ideas that fit the canon episodes. Rarely so ((like my "Precious Soul of Mine" fanfic)) but it happens. This story is marked completed but I may or may not post something more to it.
