The hands of the clock keep turning. The passage of time continues its unrelenting march. Twilight and her friends continue to live rich lives, accomplishing their dreams and so much more. Yet, what is Twilight to do when, one day, she realizes she doesn't know her friends that well anymore?

Written for April Fools 2014. A bit of sad to balance out all the shenanigans.

This is the story of a very ordinary pony's extraordinary day. Carrot Top and Derpy are good friends indeed, and sometimes friendship can lead to wonderful surprises. It can also lead to arguments, frustration, and general grumpiness, of course, and this story has all of those things as well. But mostly, this is a story about the day Carrot Top learned how to fly.

A friend advised me to write something, so I sat down and typed up this. I had fun, anyway, and hopefully at least one of you will, too.

A monster threatens to destroy Ponyville, again. More importantly, it wrecks havoc with a certain clockmaker's schedule. Quite infuriating, that.

EDIT - KwirkyJ has recorded an audiobook version! I think he did quite well, considering the source material.
