Only Spike stands in the way of disaster when Rainbow Dash accuses Twilight Sparkle of lacking spontaneity.

A fire begins in the Everfree Forest. Everypony wants to help stop the fire, but Princess Celestia orders Twilight to allow it to burn unchecked. How can Twilight and her friends stand idly by when such a tragedy is raging so close to them?

After Rainbow Dash accidentally says the wrong two words to exactly the wrong unicorn, she learns a lesson about the power of language -- in more than one way.

A clawed glove wrapped over Pinkie Pie's lips, silencing her.

"What does the pink one speak of, pony?" He demanded of Twilight, who sputtered at his question. "Do these 'Elements' hold the power to resurrect humanity?"

"I'm... not sure." She returned, halfheartedly. "They're pretty powerful..."

"Where are they?"

"In Canterlot, the city on the mountains, but-"

He dropped Pinkie and stomped off, leaving her to flop around her stretched-out lips. Twilight saw that he was going out the door and in the direction of the city she had mentioned.

"W-wait! Stop!" She galloped after him.

Down a well-traveled side street off the lower Las Pegasus market, stands a proud building with a dignified brass plaque on the door that simply says "The Sex Shop." Everypony's heard rumors of what's inside.

There, she meets the odd creatures known as humans, and learns about their chaotic activities, about both their good and bad sides. The 4077th's crew learns about her world as well.

And during it all, they heal each other's hearts, even if they don't mean to.

Applejack develops an allergy she never expected to have to deal with, and it could bring shame onto her whole family. She has to cure it, at all costs.
