Dinky has always known her mother was a little different from a lot of ponies she met. Her eyes went in different directions, but this never bothered the filly until class bully Diamond Tiara began to mock her mother, setting Dinky into a rage. Because of a misunderstanding both mother and daughter believe the other doesn't like them anymore, and they try to make amends towards each other. In doing so Derpy reveals her regrets from the past where a cruel stallion broke her heart and left her alone and pregnant.

Will Derpy be able to overcome the past to find happiness in the present?

The Doctor was too late. Derpy Hooves had vanished, and the Doctor was left with nothing but emptiness in his hearts on Christmas day. Venturing out one last time, could there be a way for Derpy Hooves to live on?

The Doctor left Derpy ten years ago to try to get home. Frustrated by his lack of success, he stays in the TARDIS, hanging idly in space. But when a delerious filly appears, he has no choice but to go back- and Ponyville is not as he remembers.

Sparkler and Dinky have been surrounded by shields most of their lives. One is to contain the Daleks, keeping them inside Ponyville. The other is to slow the Daleks down. Twice a day, the Daleks break through the second shield, and Dinky and Sparkler must lure them elsewhere; for some reason, the Daleks will go after them above all other ponies. They dimly remember a time when Rainbow Dash wasn't so obsessed with catching Daleks, when their mother wasn't sick, and when Daleks didn't haunt their dreams.

Their mother, Ditzy Doo, once told them of their father, a stallion who left without warning, without goodbye. He is the reason Dinky is so good with tools and why Sparkler understands ponies without knowing why. As the situation in Ponyville and their personal lives gets more and more desperate, they make a choice to try to find him. The problems in Ponyville have no ordinary cure, so why settle for an ordinary doctor?

If you have not read "Doctor Derpy; A Odd Love" than you probably should go read that first. Anyway, Dinky, even though her mom had said that she cant tell, wants to know about her father. Pipsqueak wants to help his friend but he doesn't know how, due to the lack of modern-day technology. Dinky goes through all these challenges to find him and ends up finding other things. What are those other things? Will she find her father? Will Pipsqueak help his friend? Find out here!

After parent's day at school, Dinky asks Derpy who her daddy is. Hesitant, Derpy lets her daughter know the real story behind her family history. After coming to terms with this new information, Dinky decides to find a special somepony for her mother that can double as new father.

All throughout her life, Derpy has been looked down upon. Nopony at her work thinks she will ever amount to anything because she can never do anything right. One night, after messing up once again at the weather factory, Derpy goes home and starts to cry. With nopony to talk to, she decides to go to her one companion who has always given her comfort: her bed. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to her, somepony is quickly approaching to aid her through this tough time. A pony with an unknown name.

This story is inspired by a meme I saw on Facebook where the Doctor (Matt Smith) visits Tony Stark as a baby and tells him of all the wonderful things he will accomplish in his life. Two months after being visited by the humanoid Doctor, Dr Whooves had been both blessed and cursed with dreams of The Doctor.
